i think i would start with an e-book, create a blog/ website, landscape designs, garden starter packs, publish a book, offer consultations and maybe at the end if i get everything roling merchandise. i hope i'm not getting in over my head.

Recently, in Oz, you have to be careful about how, selling stuff out of your home, might affect your home insurance. Some companies use any excuse to refuse claims.

Saw a TH-cam channel from America where they grew and packed salad leaf for local shops and restaurants from their own garden. They next rented out other people’s gardens to expand production.

A Jersey family stumbled into being Yuzu producers (Japanese lemons) and they finally switched careers and now sell them at high prices to restaurants. But if people would come to your home to pick them up (if you do not have that many), that would also be a business model. Or farmer's market. They sell at 3 - 4 times of the price of regular lemons. Large egg yolks (say from ducks) and cure them in salt and sell them online. Duck eggs are allegdly not suitable to beat the whites and you have to be more careful to cook them. so I think the people that have duck eggs have a harder time selling them, also due to consumer preferences. But the larger yolks shrink when the salt dehydrates them, so starting with a large egg is helpful. Because they have been "dried by salt" and are still salty, they keep well so that makes logistics (delivery) easier and safer.
If you have electricity surplus from a PV installation you could make black garlic. It needs to "bake" for a very long time, but I guess it achieves good prices. I think that lemon curd would be a great "jam" to sell - lots of people have regular jams. or jam from green tomatoes. Things that a very unusual. Or "pickled" walnuts (unripe green walnuts and sugar syrup plus time), it is also a greek speciality.

Dried soup powder (there are recipes online) - all natural. Berries in organic quality, the logistics of berries is complicated because they are delicate, but if you sell them regionally or people can pick them.... Grow PawPaws - they are not offered in shops because they do not keep well and must be plucked very mature. Any thing that is novel, unusual or ignored by the shops would be good - to trigger curiosity and stand out.

@@SustainableHolly Such a valuable pack of knowledge in this video! And such a pity that TH-cam does not provide this (and similar content) with even 1% the visibility it deserves. They totally could, but they don't want to take any risk whatsoever, so they recommend mostly established channels and cheap entertainment. The system is completely broken …

fresh winter vegetables in colder climates. Some salads, kales etc. will withstand -10 to -15 degrees Celsius. The problem is the higher humidity, that the plants should not be moved as long as they are frozen (not by humans and not by wind or animals), and light - these are the limiting factors not the cold. German and Austrian farmers and market growers are taught how to grow radishes, salads, etc. for Christmas - in the unheated greenhouse or polytunnel.

Daniel from the channel Mossy Bottom (in Ireland) has rabbits but does not eat them. He does not mulch his paths, the rabbits are in a "rabbit mobile" and graze the paths. He does that to get their manure which is very high in nutrients. (He eats fish, but I do not think the animals from his farm. He also has Kunekune pigs - for "ploughing" the fields, eating bugs and pests, they are not slaughtered). He also sells 10 - 20 rabbits as pets per year (he has a white, docile breed that qualifies well for pets). That makes him 500 Irish Pounds extra per year - but then he has to buy some fodder, maybe he needs the vet. If one was willing to eat them or to sell them for meet more income (or cut food bills) would be possible.

Aloe Vera is good for your skin (I think the plant has to be 2 - 3 years old to build all the ingredients), one could sell gel. There are natural ways of conserving it. - Also: market and organic farmers are constantly searching for good & safe ! compost (that does not contain aminopyralides or related destructive herbicides). Since those herbicides from hell are on the market a lot of smaller growers and private gardeners have been burned. You get some compost from the muncipality or your usual horse stable, or get some hay or straw, or buy compost - and all of a sudden it contains the herbicide. It does not break down easily and everything that is not a grass (so grass in meadows, or grasses like wheat or corn ...) react super sensitive to it.
Channels with a lot of followers (like Charles Dowding) warn the viewers and have been burned (or they have to test each batch of compost, manure, ... before spreading it on the beds). I also know from uploaders from Canada, Germany, the US that suffered aminoypyralide damage.

The first few that I would love to try is selling cuttings from plants, selling seeds, making DIY pots and planters and to propagate and sell trending houseplants. My one question is when you get to number 99 in the video are they canna lillies behind you? So pretty and i dont remember seeing them in your previous garden tours. Cant wait for spring so i can do more around the garden, the perth rains are wonderful but keeping me inside to much :)

Buying Acre check things out. Some companies like mines can search on your property look at alcoa who has Blackrock and vanguard as big shareholder walk and dig up your land. Alcoa is allowed to dig our jarrah region but u are not. Check some councils as looney greens have made towns like jurien Bay only grow aussie bush plants, fires and ant problems arise, so check the plants out ref sap. Also toodjay a farmer who got fined by a nutty green neighbour for fixing his own bridge on his own property. Apparently he had to let the bridge rot because the land of oz is aboriginal. Also down donnybrook to balingup miners want land for lithium mines. Check things out.

Would have been better to organise it and don't trying to get 100 ideas for klicks. For example is baking bread or cake quite the same idea. Also there would be more time to explain for each category like social media, photography, plant propagation, animals, selling handmade products, events and so on. But overall there are some good ideas!
