Seems like the engine compartment is burning and not the batteries.

Everything is burning but **not the lithium battery**, amazing how far EV safety has come!

The fire doesn’t seem to be coming from the battery but rather the combustible parts of the car.

Does it actually stop reignition or is it just the same as throwing water at it?

maybe it will be more relevant when the batteries are burning. Simulating a short circuit would be better than setting the engine bay on fire. f-500 maybe the solution but this test seems not to be valid. A shorted battery may ignite again. There still is oxygen and material , the short circuit will add the temperature.

Ancora una volta il Vero F500EA da la dimostrazione che ....funziona e spegne senza riaccensione, grazie per il video

    I didn't see a single thermal runaway !!!
The tires exploded and the gas cartridges from the airbags.
They set fire to the car and it burned down like a normal gasoline vehicle.

    Battery definitely didn't catch fire.

The sheer amount of effort to get the fire started. EVs are way safer than ICE cars.

It was mostly normal fire. I've seen real lithium battery fires and what is displayed doesn't look like it.

Still a heck of a lot of water

Seems like the usual amount of water for non ev fire, based on time in the video. Still would appreciate it if they state the amount of water used.

@ just with the F-500 additive I’d have expected it to need less water that it seemed

@@briantheminer EV fire use way much water than this, sometimes even a tanker is required at scene. So, it could be said that the additive helps based on the video alone.

@@fitrizailani8382 I don't see the main battery going off or it is edited out. Those small bangs probably came from 12V battery which may be lithium too.

I like the content of your video but I absolutely hate the music choice you decided to go with.
    I also don't like the voiceover/narrator guy.
