Ooh first comment on this one been watching for about a year now. Found you while looking for Crimson Glory reactions and now here we are for a thrash metal classic! Keep up the great work Shane!
I'm fairly certain that you've had to have heard this one before. Not 100% if they played it in concert because I've never seen them live. Insert sad face. I too discovered Death Angel on the Frolic album. Due to their song I'm bored. Death Angel started in '82. I would think that it was their ages that they didn't get signed sooner for their first album release in '87. The drummer was 14 when they recorded The Ultra Violence. Everyone else was under the age of 20. So Death Angel was most definitely in the thick of the beginnings of Bay Area Thrash. I'm still holding out hope that they will play somewhere close enough for me to get to see them. Oh I forgot to mention that Death Angel has their very own beer. So go get you some.
Death Angel is fucking killer. I have been a fan since the late 80's. I have met them, great dudes. Keep making fun of Vinnie Vincent. The one with you in the car with him is unreal.. 17:05
One of the greatest Thrash Ballads I have ever heard. I mean if Metallica can make Call of Ktulu and Orion then so can Death Angel with The Ultra Violence.
Death Angel has quite a punk and prog influences in their unique Thrash Metal 😈😈😈 I to got onboard with their Frolic Through The Park album. Act III is also a monster album. I always prefer the classic 80s/early 90s Thrash Metal, so I haven't kept up with the band since.
Probably my favorite thrash band. Amazing how long they’ve been at it. Saw them play recently, they’re not slowing down
My scope and knowledge of Death Angel is not very wide but this was TASTY!! 🤘💥

That intro riff sounds like tubular bells.
