Very nicely done. The signs were well chosen, conceptually accurate, clearly produced and just done well over all. It would be nice to see some classifiers and facial grammar in terms of it being a story told out, as that's what we are doing, and perhaps a little more ASL Syntax used however, this is an absolutely wonderful job, and those things doesn't take away from what you've done, they could only enhance them. I'm not able to find very quality "ASL" video's to P&W music done. Most of what I find are those who have the signs but no clue how to put them together correctly and end up coming out as SEE sign or PSE at best. Which even PSE is more acceptable than SEE. What many don't realize is that ASL is a visual language, we tell a story via their language and it's also a conceptual language meaning that the Deaf tend to take things very literal. If they see someone sign "Under the wings of Jesus" instead of "Under Jesus protection." which is the actual meaning of those words, a Deaf person would see that and become confused thinking that Jesus has wings like a bird. Great job I look forward to adding you to my list.
Great Explanation of how a deaf person relates. I am taking Sign again to become an Interpreter. I also want to Sing and Sign at church. So i love your descriptions. I am a certified interpreter whom grew up in the Deaf community and had been a professional interpreter for 42 years. (I started very very young ha) I also have been married to a Deaf professional for almost 30 years. I love this interpreter. She does an amazing job. When I watch her I realize more often than not we almost always use the same sign choices. I think if we knew each other in real life we'd be friends. When people can see things clearly it will be easier to learn and understand. Bright lights will keep people awake and alert.I’m certain everyone will appreciate it. God bless you all.

I’ve not seen much ASL yet with my little knowledge of English Sign Word Order (I believe that’s the correct terminology, pleas inform me if I I’m in error), which I studied for a few years back in the 1900’s and I feel the tug to seek out classes once again. Natural light is good all so. Flood rooms with natural light. Hearing impaired and deaf people have visual impairments and in some cases blindness. Extra lights and good lighting is a necessity. Lighting is needed

The only thing we can advise you is to keep practicing your signs. Meet other people that knows sign language. Take classes. And eventually you'll be able to do songs in signs! God bless.

I've noticed that there is confusion and mistranslation with this song... specifically with the line "His mercy reigns". I've seen the word "reigns" mixed up with the "reins" of a horse... and now here it is confused with "rains". The word means "to rule over"... they mean different things... and it isn't really appropriate to interchange them because they are homophones... that is projecting our ability to hear and hear words that sound the same on people who are deaf... because the majority of people who are deaf cannot hear the difference and have never heard them, so may not be able make the connection.
Reign means to rule. Rule means to control. The concept is similar, so it's right to use 'control' as in controlling horse to express 'rule' or 'govern' or 'reign'
Adi Nugroho, It is possible that the reins of a horse derived from reigns... but it is not synonymous. Furthermore, the video didn't use either word... she used "rains"... literally miming rain falling from the sky, which has absolutely nothing to do with what the lyrics are attempting to convey.
Christa Hamilton, It doesn't fit... because reigns is the actual lyric. Worshiping God is a submission to God's reign over us... if you find submission to your creator unpalatable or offensive... you may want to question your level devotion you have for Him.
