They use sources that most others don’t. Often times there are little things kind of hidden throughout the song and everytime you listen, you catch something new. Their last two albums “The World” series are on another level. The way they can evoke a mood and give you the visual through the music is insane. And Yeosang’s vocals go even lower also. 🫣
Halazia is still firmly in my most listened to playlist. What I love about Ateez is to expect the unexpected in every song they perform. Hongjoong seems to come at music from a very classical breakdown. Orchestral music has unexpected twist and turns as well. Its a bit fascinating to break it down
Y'all should react to their most recent album "The World Ep. 2 - Outlaw". Very vintage cyberpunk style. It's amazing. Their style experimentation and execution is god tier. It's a short album I would love to see it here. ^_^

I discovered kpop in January and am a huge BTS fan and haven't found a lot of other kpop bands I really like yet other than ateez and stray kids. That being said, outside of BTS this is my all time favorite kpop song I have heard. It is phenomenal. I also have to mention that I also love The Rose which is a korean indie band and a lot of OST songs from kdramas.

But Halazia hits me in all right places. 😂 I have similar problems with Stray Kids, these beat changes they have tend to throw me out of song. They are great and talented. But not exactly my favourites.
