Dearest Laura, sorry to hear about Chloe’s health decline. My family and I have had many loved pets over the years and it’s never easy to lose a little friend. Just know that we all love you and respect you and you didn’t have to share a thing. You have started a beautiful community here and everything will be fine in time.

I am feeling a little unsettled. There is a storm to hit Florida by tomorrow. This is not our rainy season or storm season, this time of year is always very dry and cooler. The news of Chloe’s decline is making me cry. I just lost a friend of nearly 40 years the other day, as he had been in ill health for some time.
Yes, unfortunately he took the jab, and I can’t help but think him getting that made his health troubles worse.
No, it’s NEVER easy losing our furbabies. My oldest cat is 14 (I have three), and while she’s in reasonably good health now, I know the time will come when she’ll no longer be in the house. 😟
I pet her up at every opportunity……she still greets me first thing in the morning wanting to be petted, and she still goes crazy over shredded cheese. ☺️
Thanks much for the read Laura……I do feel at times there is some kind of timeline split, as a number of times I’ve felt either a day ahead, or a day behind. Some days I forget totally what day it is…..have to look at my phone and then see that YIKES…..it’s already Friday! ⏰
