I am 74, these bands are the sounds of my time. Not forgotten and still played
I'm 24, most of these bands are not forgotten. They all have made great songs that impacted music
A lot of people never forgot them.
These bands are no longer making new music. That doesn't mean they 'have fallen off the radar of time". Many (most) of these bands are still listened to by fans of all ages and are still influential to today's music scene.
They're not forgotten except by you 😊
That would be a no….. still listen to the music I grew up with…. Have almost 2000 songs in my library….75 and still listening to the best rock and roll….
I think about and play Steppenwolf everyday, I haven't forgotten about them or CCR!!
I saw Chicago at "Pine Knob" in Michigan (a ski slop, with a stage and concerts during the summer months) I've seen everyone from Cream and Jimi Hendrix ... live, Chicago it had to be one of the best bands I ever watched and listened to.
Lets be honest, time forgets all bands, no matter what era they were from, yes, they may crop up now and then in docs, or quiz progs, but are rarely remembered. But who cares. Life moves on, hopefully to better things, But looking around me right now, I'm not so sure.
Music is kind of like a generational thing, as a 75 year old geezer, I still listen to the best rock and roll….. cruising in my drop top chevelle, blasting to “ Radar Love”, or maybe “ Lake Shore Drive”
Ya, this music is timeless….
@@robertholland9331 Sounds great, KOR.
The research could have been a little better - line ups not including major players etc. No Ian Gillan mentioned for Deep Purple and no Al Kooper for Blood, Sweat and Tears and he put the band together in the first place!! If a job’s worth doing…
Not sure why the Incredible String Band are in this list and The Byrds spelled their name with Y not I, but a very good job on this video those two small errors apart.
"Its sound was compromised of haunting folk melodies."
😂😂😂😂
The first time I saw John fogerty he had a flat top haircut,
I thought Ian Pace was the original drummer for Deep Purple and the only original member left playing with them. He wasn’t mentioned. Am I wrong in my thinking?
Don't care what anybody says, said and will say. Yoko Ono was oil to the band's water.
She plotted and schemed to worm her way into the band. Maybe she thought she had musical skills of sorts ... she didn't, but I've seen documentary film of London during the Beatles early years and surprisingly she's present on a street scene with another young man. They're obviously a couple. The fact she's not English born and she's in London way before she met John Lennon tells me she was a stalker with zip to contribute.
annoying commentary...had to stop watching it, felt like he was trying to shove some product at me...pity, otherwise it would've been good
Really??🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
A clic bait
Hahaha……ccr shouldn’t be on this list
