Kara is the best character in the game. Her conflict with Superman is so compelling. I kind of wish she was the one to beat Brainiac, but I guess it makes sense for the two main characters to beat him.

Wow I've never seen so much praise for supergirl in any other comment section. Even when I didn't know about injustice I liked her more than superman because she was more interesting to me than him since he's always portrayed as a perfect god who can do no wrong and while that's fun for a while it gets boring soon whereas kara on the other hand has a much better back story. She has doubts and vulnerabilities despite having the powers of a god and that just makes her more likable and relatable. I thought I was the only one who liked her more but I'm glad to know there are more anomolies like me out there.

This Supergirl acts very similar to the one in the tv show(at least the way she acted in Season 1). The optimism and idealism, the "giving people hope" dialogue, etc. It's all in Season 1 of the tv show.
No offence to anyone who actually likes that show but I'd pick this idealistic Supergirl or the spunky Supergirl in Justice League animated series over the melodramatic Supergirl in that cheesy SJW propaganda filled CW show.
I like how Kara takes a middle ground between the Superman (regime Supe) and Batman moral thing. Supe and his regime kills without mercy and consideration. Batman has no kill at all. Supergirl didn't denounce killing. She just said that you don't do that to helpless individuals and if you want to execute someone you have to give them a trial first, a middle ground between the two ideologies.

Actually the Injustice comics revealed that it goes back to World War II where she learned that Steve Trevor was actually a Nazi spy the whole time and that he was using her the whole time. Not to mention, Steve killed one of her fellow Amazons when he tried to steal her lasso.
