A trick for making eyeshadows as eyeliner pop: Have a white kajal eye pencil, use it as an eyeliner and stipple the eyeshadow over it. Then you can work with your eyeshadow collection which doesn't expire as quickly as liquid eyeliners and you don't need to buy one in every colour. 😉
I hit pan on the milani blush a little bit ago and I think you just have to keep going because I hit pan on it when I wasn't expecting to at all. the ridges on the pan are really thin and not close to the center so it went from really thin layer of blush to a full 1cm circle of pan within 2-3 uses
About expiration dates. As you've opened the Klairs sunscreen the printed expiration date doesn't apply. That's the product's self life, unopened. Once you've opened a product you should refer to the little symbol on the back. Looks like a tub and a lid and has a number and the letter M written on the tub. That tells you the number of months the product is good for after opening. With sunscreens following the manufacturers guidance about expiry is important as the product will not give you proper uv protection after it's expired.
Not related to project pan, but seeing the pics of that milani blush each month and how VASTLY the color changed in different lighting reminded me to swatch things in person that I see in people's videos! WOW, that's crazy to me how different the color looks! Love your content, thanks Sarah!!
lol well to be fair, I usually try to get my project pan photos in natural light, which does vary drastically and is crazy inconsistent! which is why I don't use natural light to film videos 😅
Regarding the blush, wasn't this the year that you were only gonna pan things that you were loving❤ because you got kinda burt out last year from panning things you didn't like?
You’ve inspired me to wear Grandstand today. I pan organically and have used up 9 makeup products this year and hit pan on 3 eye shadows,1 blush and 1 powder. I’ve started following Sophie Alexandra and am inspired to do No Pan left behind with my eyeshadow singles and palettes and my lip products. I learn a lot about products and make up usage from your Panning videos.
That was really nice update, very clear and with only main focus products:) I'm also a person who don't like throwing things, but when I buy face cream, serum which i don't like, I use it on hands, chest area or feet😊 I also during fall, use much more black liner and I would love to see your make up with it as well:)
You’ll definitely finish that primer soon! That being said, I do think it’s worth cutting open at the end to get one or two more uses, but it is still satisfying to pan with that pump!
I had that versed eye cream and didn't love it either, it was just an extra step that wasn't doing anything for me.. also, I think I'm too lazy for eye creams 😂.. i just end up using my moisturizer around my eyes
I really like your eye look today, that Nomad palette has some gorgeous colors in it, every once in a while a palette comes out that makes me wish I used palettes, this is definitely one!
I've used up the elf Jellypop and eld Powergrip primers. Same component. I'd say when it stops pumping you might have one use left, but it does get practically used up
Congratulations on hitting pan on Grandstand 🎉😊 That is amazing 👏 🙌 It's one of my fave neutrals in my entire (very large) collection, but I will sadly never hit pan 😁
I have only hit pan on pressed powder foundations. I live in a very hot location (35°C to 45°C is the norm) and using liquid foundations are only usable in winter (10°C to 20°C). Our summers are 6 months and all the other seasons are 2 months in my head 😅 so, because of all the hot weather, working with simple primer, powder and setting spray has been my daily routine. Hope I manage to hit pan on other products too ❤
Yay for panning content 🥳 I recently panned a lippie and hit pan on my contour organically, so now I'm super motivated to use up my other stuff and watch people do the same thing. That jelly pop primer and foundation look so close to being done, can't wait to hear about your progress on them!
Love watching these. I dont know what it is but I hate hitting the pan on my products. I like for the divet to expand outward not down. I’ve only ever completely used up a couple of products in all my years - A couple blushes and the Becca illuminating primer which has been discontinued. I love using up things I loved that are available but so sad when something I love is discontinued. I leave my panned products in my regular makeup. I agree with you that I dont like forcing myself to use a product just to finish it. It makes it less fun. I just rotate things based on color and texture by seasons for anything that’s a color.
I LOVE your panning content but would you ever consider taking a break for a month or maybe even a quarter to just enjoy using your whole collection? You might come back to a new project with renewed enthusiasm. P.S. I got the Kokie nude lip liner on your recommendation and I love it…nice color and really lasts! Thanks!

I'm the worst at remembering sunscreen if I'm not wearing makeup 😏 i decided to put one by my morning moisturizer..

You should try the kohl eyeshadow over the lid as a base. It really makes glam looks bolder without looking too heavy.
I will have to try that for some smokey/vampy looks!!

The tap test is so cool! First time I heard of it and seems super useful 😊
I really hope you're doing Vlogmas in any way or another cause I love your videous😁
Yes! I’m planning on it!🎄
I check the level of products in opaque packaging by shining a bright light into it from behind, if that makes sense.
I tried that but this plastic was THICK haha
I am curious. As a panner do you ever return what doesn't work for you?
I try not to return makeup unless there is something really wrong with it! Otherwise I will just re-home or donate a product that doesn't work for me.
Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.@@SarahRoseBeauty
