I wouldn't describe a self-contained, resourceful, English country gentleman, nature lover as 'lonely' or a 'loner' - the seasons, animals and the forest are amazing, and for those of us who live in a concrete jungle, your vids are a nice escape... thanks for posting...
one of my very favorites, and lately, as it has been a little bit of a hard go, i have listened a lot. it is like making a new friend because you put your heart into it, because it is still by its nature at a safe distance, we feel free to share ourselves with you in a way we would not do as comfortably, face to face.also, we are accepting based on the heart, not appearances. you have such a good heart toward all that lives , are kind and show a steady warmth and gentleness that evokes a caring , candid response. i think of you as a friend already , how much you have helped others. you are a healer, dear sir, and a fine example. so yes, though i ave not been with you long in years, i ave listened closely, and you have helped me when i was tired, and low to relax and smile and know i am not alone in my way of being. hugs to you, i hope you are listening to your own advice and relaxing as much as you can, and maintaining your health. thanks again for the quality of your efforts and for being your own sweet self. suzy. ps you don't have to answer, i just want to share that you are much loved by us all.
It is our responsibility as intelligent beings to care for the welfare of animalS and other humans. Some humans don't have the compassion gene, neither for animals nor other humans. It's uplifting to hear from the heart of a consummate animal lover like you, in this harsh world where people like us are sometimes almost pitied because we choose to spend our private lives with animal companions. As someone who spends the working week pressed in on all sides by needy though wonderful humans, for me it is a joy to come home to my feline companions. They calm me and comfort me, and in return I care for them in every way that can benefit then. I don't live in the country - that is a goal for a little later in life, but I have a beautiful garden. I learnt something about bee swarms just now. Thank you again and again for your observations and gentleness.
elenikiroy Thank you for such a wonderful comment, it is so nice to hear of other animal loving people too...my very best wishes to you and your cats :-)
I think you must be one of the nicest men in the world. I must admit I am starting to feel very affectionate towards you! I am so glad there are still people like you around, there are too few. You have restored my faith in humanity, AND helped me sleep, and for that I thank you :)
Well this made me smile, many thanks my friend, and congratulations to you both on the birth of your Son, and to the Midwives in the Royal Preston Hospital. Thank you again for sharing such a special time. :-)
Thank you my friend, glad you get outdoors too, so nice to amongst nature, I work for the Goverment, but that's all I can say on that sorry, I live just on the edge of Snowdonia, in a Hamlet type of village, I live alone with the cats, thank you my again :-)
Thank you so much for this whisper!! It makes me so happy. :) It was so special to be connected to this whisper in some way. Keep up the great, great work!
"Not all those who wander are lost," I agree. And though it does sound strange to say we may be friends, in a way it is quite true: I spend much more time with you than I do with the other folks I consider friends. Thanks for sharing of yourself and your history. Loved the fruit-pinching story with your uncle - maybe you could call it gleaning instead...wonderful video.
I can relate to this very deeply. Im that kind of person, sort of private. I feel the least lonely when Im out in the woods or somewhere alone. I dont consider myself as antisocial or anything, I play bass in couple of bands, have a few good friends (my bandmates mostly). Love your videos, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I really like it when you say the words "garden" and "cards." I don't know why...but every time they give me ASMR chills. :) Thank you so much for whispering. Sooooo relaxing.
I Would really like to be your friend and walk your beautiful walks, only if I lived closer to Wales, Sweden is a bit far for me to just come over at the weekend to take a walk x) But someday I will come visit you, either you want it or not! xD
Another great video here, look forward to your next one! Also i would count you as a friend! be interesting to know what you do during a week day, if you work etc... Look forward to hearing from you soon.
Your interest in bees is very relevant! In North America, we have had two massive die offs-one in the US of bumblebees, and a more recent die off in Canada of honeybees. Bees are responsible for pollinating many of the fruits, vegetables, and flowers we enjoy. I wanted to check and see if Europe/UK is having the same problem; apparently it is. (Can't post the article from Guardian). I know you help the birds and squirrels, you may help the bee population as well if you aren't already.....
I have a friend up in your Birmingham (I'm actually from the "sister city" in Michigan, no joke!) who was the person who explained the Oregon die off to me. She is very pro-active on this issue, so I figured at least on the other side of the pond you had it covered. Besides, you love your gardens so much there! Here-please don't get me started on the range on environmental views. I live in Seattle, thank goodness, where we're pretty green. PS-I'm an insomniac-was planning to listen to this!
Google is a verb now; Google "endangered bees" and I am sure there will be suggestions as to what you may do in your local area and even your own yard. Unlike you, I am not a loner; I am a crusader for causes. Even if I concentrate just on the environment, the problems are overwhelming. I know you are a friend of our Mother, Earth; it is lovely that you are spreading the word in a gentle way through your videos. In doing so, you are also being a great friend to your listeners. Thank you!
I think you're great. I watched one of ur vids ages ago, the one where u had stew in the woods, it really made me appreciate the woods/outdoors. I go on mini rambles too now and really enjoy it. I always thought u were like a park ranger or guide. not to be nosey but do u have a job, who do u live with, how old r u, and im sure the ladies of the whisper community will be iching to ask if u have a gf/partner, do u live in a village? im genuinly wanting to know more. You are very nice chap.
Yes there has been a big problem with bees here, especially honeybees..but people are trying to help now, by leaving sections of garden/waste land etc..to grow wild, and introduce wild flowers etc back..therefore hoping the effect will reverse..in time of course..Thank you so much :-))
Many who listen to whispers, soft voices or certain sounds, experience a tingling sensation which begins at the scalp and travels down the body. It's very pleasant, like someone whispering in your ear. Some can't experience this. If you can, put on headphones, sit back, relax and listen. You might fall asleep. Try a variety of different whisperers. WV is one of the best, especially for comfort.
I hope you enjoy this if you listen to it, I am glad your friend is pro-active on this subject, where I live is full of wild areas and people have gardens full of ranges and different flowers, trees, fruit etc, so the bee numbers have risen very much, I expect it is the "urban" side of things they are worried about here..Thanks again :-)
Dude, of course I'd love to be your friend. I am so glad you would classify us as such. You have officially taken our relationship from "creepy kid listening to some creepy guy whisper at his computer, to FRIEND status." [I'm gonna go make a note of that.]
I am also sort of a loner. Also happy on my own. And also love to observe and think of things and the state of them. My ex-girlfriends weren't able to understand why I didn't want to spend every day with them and didn't want to live with them under one roof even though I strove to explain myself to them several times. I think they felt like not having a complete power over me and that I wasn't utterly obsessed with them although I naturally endeavored to make them feel special each time together
I expect in her mind she was doing the right things, but it made the rich richer and the poor worse off really, I think goverments should ask the people who put them in power what they think or want I suppose.. But it doesn't happen. Many thanks :-)
I still frequently come back to these videos. They bring me a lot of joy. ♥ I so hope you're well and enjoying the outdoors.

I Listen to one of your whispers almost everyday . Thank You for all the effort you put in to these whispers it means so much to so many people.
Love it! Thanks for sharing! So lovely and so relaxing!

Works like a treat every time may god bless you friend many thanks
You Sir, never stop to amaze me. Great video, and I could relate to the loner experience. Thank You for being such an honest and gold hearted person.
Well this made me smile, many thanks my friend, and congratulations to you both on the birth of your Son, and to the Midwives in the Royal Preston Hospital. Thank you again for sharing such a special time. :-)
