Dude it blows my mind how this beach can have always perfect conditions to surf, I wonder if this is every single day of the week there? I'm from the Mediterranean and we are lucky if we get waves on winter. I feel like if someone surfed there he will improve so fast damn!
I’ll be super honest. This is the best year of surfing I’ve ever had. The sandbanks and conditions have been great for a lot of the year. These definitely aren’t our daily conditions, I just take my GoPro out when they’re good. I grew up surfing rubbish waves all the time probably like everyone else, now I have the freedom away from school/full time work to surf and teach other people 😄 You’ll have to come here someday bro!

Also as the GoPro lens is super wide it can be hard to see the wave approaching in the distance. Staying calm and remembering it’s only a short burst of energy that will pass after a few seconds is important. To gain confidence in the water I’d recommend swimming and breath hold training. Although, there’s probably some great TH-cam videos out there on this topic with some other methods 🤙🏽 I’d personally just try in what you feel comfortable then slowly work your way up
First session was like 2-3ft. Glassy one was small as like 1ft, odd 2fter. Rest was like 2/3 🤙🏽 (I measure from the back btw haha otherwise double what I said and that’s the wave face)
