Yes, would love to see a pantry organize & declutter video ❤👍 I would definitely leave the dinning table for Christmas. It will look stunning once you decorate it. I would put the other tree where you had the large Santa & put Santa on the front porch. I'm sure all the neighborhood children would really enjoy that 😊
I also agree with one of the comments. Maybe convert your family room iff the kitchen to a formal dining room. It would look beautiful and then take out the round table in the little nook and make it a cozy little area for the family
Can somebody tell me why people put normal sheet on top of their fitted sheet? In Finland that would be concidered waste of time and energy😅 I think that would not even stay in place. I just don't get that😂
My #1 must for meals is planning. I write meals out for an entire month (they can be moved around) but I know what ingredients to buy in advance and I also know what to thaw out of the freezer etc. I sit down with my calendar so I know what nights need to be quick and easy meals and what nights I can spend more time on.
The chickens are hilarious. Just so you know, eggs are laid with a protective coating. They last a long time out and about unless they are washed. You can float test the eggs to see if they are still good. Just fill a big bowl with water and add the eggs. The fresh ones lay on the bottom of the bowl. The ones ready for hard boiling raise up a little, but an end stays on the bottom. And the ones that float are compost. Of course now that the eggs have been in water the good ones will need to be refrigerated. Good luck with all the garden plans. It is always an exciting time of year. Here in the Chicago suburbs our nights are still too cold to get the tomatoes and peppers in the ground. I have to wheel them in and out of the garage every day. High maintenance little divas!
So love your chickie kids! Happy Mother's Day! Chickens on outdoor farms do lay eggs everywhere in & under trees, bushes so they should be ok. It is in there natural instinct to do this. You have to ensure you get them asap as they will sit on it & hatch. 🐣💐
The no bake chocolate cookies are great during summer. Weather here in Florida is warm but not terrible yet. They are expecting a humdinger hurricane season this year. You are an inspiration and joy/ comfort to watch!! 😊
Today is mother's day Think beautiful memories of your mother I lost mine 19 9 months pregnant Grief is hard I have lost my child also forever 38 left 3 small children But evetyday you make your mother proud of you Your the best mother i know ❤️ Happy mothers day Enjoy your day JoAnn xxxooo May her memory be external
I’m just catching up on this video and am literally laughing out loud at the egg hunt!! The chickens are adorbs and truly have their own little personalities! So funny! 😂😂😂
You shouldn’t spray the plants all over. A deep watering is what helps the roots grow , if you’re just spraying the whole plant it’s not getting a full water. With your hot weather it dries out in hours. Deep water 3 times a week, you’ll be amazed what that does. I’ve been gardening for 30 years. Give it a try please. Dorene Weiss
I agree .My grandparents always told me to water early morning before sun comes up and when sun goes down and to never hise them on top like you said to spray them on the bottom because when sun comes out the sun burns the leaves..so i always water that way
I enjoy your videos, Lauren. I like to keep my summertime meals light and fresh. My favorites are homemade chicken salad in coconut wraps (thrive market), anything grilled, lots of watermelon/cantaloupe, and tzatziki (w/ greek yogurt and fresh dill) on literally anything! As for the outdoor stuff.. the eggs aren't necessarily bad yet. I've never seen anyone use the yolk in their garden before but eggshells help keep pests/bugs out, especially tomato plants. Maybe just keep one tree and the dining table. Hope you have a great summer! I'm ready for it too!! ☀️
I think that the large Christmas trees were a magical dream in your living room.. they created such a beautiful, magical and welcoming atmosphere with the fireplace in the centre, the sofas and armchairs.. the staircase all decorated.. it was wonderful.. this year it will still be more spectacular with the bookcase.. I would keep the formal table but move it to the kitchen.. Have you ever thought of creating a wonderful dining room instead of the living room you have in the kitchen...? And then create a small relaxing area with sofas in the corner where you have the round dining table, for aperitifs, with the liquor trolley etc? In such a way as to have a wonderful welcoming, spacious and relaxing living room with only sofas, armchairs, fireplace and bookcase.. And a wonderful separate area for everything else.. imagine a nice dinner, with the relaxation corner as an aperitif area.. The kitchen, full of foods, with the island as a buffet area, an important decorated dining table and with the warmth of the fireplace as a backdrop... I find it a very beautiful, elegant and welcoming idea... I have been following you with affection for years, kisses from Italy
I’m in full summer in Florida. I stay inspired by you. It’s so weird that I can watch you and I feel more focused. It’s like a good role model relationship. You keep me organized. I have tried several of your ideas. We are decorated for summer. I grow a garden year around. For meals. I try to make out 3-4 meals a week for dinner. I do a lot of veggie and ingredient prep and sometimes we use hello fresh a couple times a week. I work in the evening so I try to prep everything before I goto work. Or it’s on the stove.
I plan my dinners out for the week and prep all the kids fruit when I get it. With a 15 month old and a 4.5 year old I go through a lot of fruit! I also prep their sandwiches ahead of time usually pbj and freeze it.
Your rose bush is absolutely stunning. Your grocery store green onions are a super easy thing to plant and have a constant supply of onions. They will grow quickly
Lovely video Lauren. Gosh your children are so lucky to have you as their wonderful Mother. ❤They are so well fed, so cared for, you make such a lovely home environment for them. I looked up why Chickens lay elsewhere from the hutch, gosh so many reasons, i know you will look it up too. 😊. I just wonder why you wash the fresh chicken? i know why regarding the veg, we do that here in UK. 🇬🇧 As always take care of yourself sending love to you. Goodnight from Rosie O 🏴
Im a freezer meal prepper, ingredient prepper and meal prepper too..I use a local grocery store for food delivery..I am outside doing yardwork and gardening so I always make meals ahead put alot in freezer and in frug so makes it easy for me when I come in from working outside so im not figuring out whats fir dinner and im usually tired and not in mood digging thru frig to figure dinner meals..Its so much easier for me.. Love your garden..❤
Leave your dining table where it is⭐️. Just put one 15’ tree in there and maybe put the other 15’ Christmas tree out in the back all decorated to enjoy the days & nights when it’s so nice 😊
Loved watching as always. I couldn't believe it when you were in the Chicken pen, all those eggs, your chickens are bonkers, but oh so cute. Over in England we only decorate at Christmas by really using one Christmas tree, so how about you only use one of them in the front room this year. It might actually look better now you have that big built-in bookcase as well, you could try it,if you don't like it, just put the other one up as well. My husband is looking for new mattress, so I will look in to the Helix ones, see what we can get over here. See you later. 🥰🇬🇧🐾🐾💖
Hey Lauren love the video everything looks great the garden is looking great those eggs on the bushes made me laugh so hard it was so sweet. You said you thought you were on an Easter hunt I said that to myself as well lol to cute. Keep the videos coming just love them.
Eastern Wisconsin here. It's difficult to decorate or plan for spring here cause we don't know when that will be. Last year we had snow in May. This year we've had highs in 80 and lows in 20s... crazy. Spring seems to have bloomed, and finally got some fresh plants in pots on covered porch. Think I'm going To have to invest in quality faux plant fillers for porch next year so I get my Spring on sooner.
Thank you, sweetheart Lauren, for another great, fun and entertaining video. Grilling meals, I do often, at Summer time, and also, I enjoy shopping personally for groceries. It is rewarding, for I want to see what I am getting. Thanks again and God bless you. Enjoy dinner, with your beautiful family. 🥰🙏✝️🌷☘️✨👍💫🌟🪴
Your chickens made me laugh. It was so funny to see all the eggs in the bushes. I hope you keep your dining room table for Christmas. Your tablescapes are always so beautiful for the holidays. There might be a new place for the trees or maybe just one tree. I like to think ahead for the holidays, too.
If you can't find another place to put on w of the trees, then i would just put up one of the trees. You love your table and I think you could do a beautiful Christmas table scape
OMGosh, those chickens are "cracking" me up. How on earth is that rosemary comfortable? Stupid question here, but why are the eggs not good? I just adore y'all's backyard. I wish we could grow tarragon here in Texas but I simply can't. Plus it's hard to find. Great video darling girl. xoxTXDeb
I would love to see your holiday tablescapes so I hope you'll find a way to have both your dining room table AND your trees somewhere. Your home is so magical at Christmas. Your decor is my favorite on youtube🤍🪻🌻🎃🍂🎄
Tip #2 Don't water the top of plant's. Water underneath the plant. Also, watering the tops of the plant's in the heat of the day can burn them as the water acts as magnifying glass.
Thank you for this suggestion tonLauren, did not see your message until I had also said something. So hopefully she will find some time to review! We all need and can use some support with the basics❤
Hey Lauren, I'm seeking a new bag for my work stuff and noticed the black one you put notepads/laptop into around 6 mins; can you give me any details on it please? Your restocking of pastas etc makes me feel at ease. It's always nice to have those things when you need them, and I do the same thing. ☑
Did you decide not to take a portion of the garage and make it into a formal dining room? I would love to see you do this as I think it would make for some wonderful entertaining/decorating space!
Lauren, I have a question…. Why are you not able to eat the eggs that were laid in the bushes? Is it because the time of when they were laid not known and therefore not edible? I have never had chickens or have had freshly laid eggs! But because of your videos I am interested in starting a small garden of cucumbers and onions and maybe tomatoes!!!
Lauren tomatoe plants do not like getting their leaves wet with watering. Myself had a master Gardner suggest watering with one of this long wand attachments so you just water from the roots or around all of your plants to avoid issues. Rain water is the only natural exception to top watering. Just a suggestion. Have a great Summer! Here in the Northeast wind and rain continues. But the GARDEN. Must survive!
The eggs in the bushes were so funny! I think the chickens figured, if you could not see them, you won't take them, LOL!! Love the yellow roses. I grill a lot in the summer too. I do find prepping my salad ingredients and fresh fruits for the week, helps me make better choices. 🐔💗🥚
Hey Lauren 😊 first off, I love reggae music, so it's too bad we didn't get to hear it and see the rest of your backyard video, and I absolutely LOVE your backyard ❤️ and also the girl who does my hair raises chickens and she said 💯 they are hiding them on you because you take them. Clementines are a great snack. Healthy and refreshing. Probably my favorite. Do you have a bench scraper to help you move those chopped veggies to the bowl? Though you so a great job! I am printable at Christmas! Your creative mine will figure out a great plan.
Do not give up your dining room table😢 i’m sure you will make it look magnificent for Christmas 🥰 maybe just think of putting one of the trees up or rearranging your couches/ furniture to accommodate each tree in the corners🤷🏻♀️

Lauren every time I see a long video from you, I am thrilled! YOU are my inspiration, YOU are da bomb! 😘
Hey Lauren
Prune the bottom leaves and branches from your tomato plant so they don't introduce disease to your plant.
Step one. One hour mark
Yes, would love to see a pantry organize & declutter video ❤👍

I love doing crockpot meals because they are healthy and seem to be less work especially in the evening.
Embrace the humbling embrace of knowledge, for in admitting fallibility lies the path to growth.

What is the brand of the jalapeño ranch salad dressing that you like? I have been wanting to try it

Two big trees is just too much for my taste.

Hello Lauren, thank you for another interesting video, I love to see day in the life videos ❤😊
Just a tip on tomatoes. Snip off the lower branches as they grow. And try not to get the leaves wet. They can develop blight.
You inspire me!!!!😅💕💃👏

where did you buy your bed?
The chickens are so funny xD
You often mention how much you like a jalapeno ranch dressing with your dino kale salad, what brand is it? My Whole Foods doesn’t carry one.
❤❤❤yea, i will
Lol the chickens ❤❤❤❤
Do you always wash your chicken?
Asian coleslaw is a must!!

Hello from Ukraine! It was very funny, eggs in bushes 😅
It’s so so beautiful around your house.
eggs in the bushes..that is a new one for me too & I am 60! LOL Thanks for sharing your life with us!! XO from NE Texas!
Lauren tomatoe plants do not like getting their leaves wet with watering. Myself had a master Gardner suggest watering with one of this long wand attachments so you just water from the roots or around all of your plants to avoid issues. Why you don’t eat the egg?
Hi Lauren, Can you please tell where you got your refrigerator container.
Now there may be more to it than that but that's what she said lol also I told her you had a rooster before but you don't now and she said I can try you why she don't because their Mean! Lol, she said hers was always attacking her 😯 yikes! Anyway, I can't wait for your next video. Have a wonderful and blessed day ❤
I think it would be a shame to not have up the trees at Christmas. I'd probably move the table.
so why weren't those eggs that were laid in the bushes edible? Just asking for a friend😊
Hi Lauren, I like your meal prep, just wondering what veggies and fruit wash do you use
What do you marinade your chicken thighs in? I love your chickens, your such an awesome mom. Happy Mother’s Day beautiful.
Looking up summer solutions now!
Love and look forward to your videos! Out of all of them I watch yours are my favorite!
I live alone now
Kids grown, married
I am a grandmother
I love my foods fresh
Not much of a freezer person
I do the same as you
I cut up all my fresh veggies
I love to cook , I do a meal for 2 days
I cook some Greek dishes
If the eggs are not edible then why put them on the plants or are they different eggs than what you found in the trees?
Why are we talking about Xmas trees?😂

Its almost 10.00pm .... I've just sat down with my cuppa 😊 always enjoy watching your videos. Sending best wishes from England ❤
Why were the eggs not edible? Thats funny they are true easter eggs hunting
I don’t think she knows how long the eggs have been there.
I always look forward to watching your videos.
So funny that you have "rosemary eggs" I enjoy watching the chickens (and your channel of course)!!
I think the bushes must go
Hello from Georgia, Lauren! My kids and I love your channel. Excited that I caught it 1 minute after release! Thanks for the motivation!
Thank you for the great video!
You should soak your plants not just lightly spray them. I do love your videos but the watering was driving me crazy.
Clementines are a great snack. Healthy and refreshing. Probably my favorite.
Do you have a bench scraper to help you move those chopped veggies to the bowl? Though you so a great job!
I am printable at Christmas! Your creative mine will figure out a great plan.

I enjoy your videos. I love seeing your chickens and hearing the sounds they make. Keep your dining room table.
