I'm not even gonna lie, this is probably one of Mel's most disturbing and unsettling songs along with A Million Men, Zzzz and Rotten Milk, not even Tag You're It gave me this much of a dreadful and eerie feeling and fact it sounds so happy too. Mel is so amazing for talking about serious topics like these.

Honestly.. Tag You’re it was always a hard one for me to listen to and I have listened to A Million Men but it breaks my heart so I can’t but the songs are amazing

this is why i love melanie so much, she’s so inclusive and kind and is respectful and has the most heavenly voice and heart, she deserves the world, i love how she talks about serious issues and about how if something bad happens to black people police don’t care and if a white person goes missing or something they care and go searching for them
I know, it's so sad when these songs get leaked but I will listen to them because I don't want the talent and effort to go to waste (only listen to the ones she confirmed won't come out)
And some people hate her because she uses their "trauma" in song to gain fame, while in reality her intentions is to spread awareness
As an Indigenous person, I feel this song so much. My cousin’s great aunt went missing and was found deceased, and the police just wrote her off as a runaway and never looked into her death. She was only 14.
That is devastating to hear and I can only imagine how angry and hurt you and your family must be. I'm so sorry for your loss.
Im so sorry for you!! I'm also indigenous (Native American Cherokee) so I can understand that a bit. Everyone deserves their stories to be heard, no matter where they are from, or their beliefs, sexuality, gender, etc. America absolutely sucks atp tbh, so much injustice. Sending love ❤❤

Apparently, if I get my facts right, this was planned for the After School EP. Which is weird, it sounds nothing like the other After School tracks. Might be why it was scrapped.
