Out of vishnu sirs 220 films more than 30+ were remade and spoilt in Tamil. He did only 35+ remakes from all languages.. But 50+ films of his own were remade in other languages. I'll mention a few that I remember. Your RAJINIKANTH'S super hit 1991 film Dharma Durai was Vishnu Sir's 1989 blockbuster hit Deva. Your hit film in 1992, the Bhagyaraj KHUSHBOO starrer Amma vantachu was a remake of Vishnu sirs 1986 blockbuster Ee Jeeva ninagagi. Vishnu sirs 1972 blockbuster nagarahavu was remade in 1974 as raja nagam. His blockbuster bhootayyana Maga ayyu that released in 1974 was remade in Tamil as Ellorum Nallavare in 1975. His 1987 super hit Karunamayi was remade as Ponmana Selvan, another super hit film in Tamil in 1989 starring vijayakanth, shobhana, gemini ganesan etc.. Vishnu sirs blockbuster bandhana was remade as prema pasam in Tamil starring Sivakumar and Revathi. Your Sathyaraj's 100th film Vathiyaar vittu Pillai in 1989 was a remake of Vishnu sirs 1988 blockbuster Nammoora Raja. there are many more. Theres a big list. His MahaPrachandaru, laali etc were all remade in Tamil. And if u start counting his films remade in Telugu and other languages, you'll get another big list and If Kannadigas had to make fun of u, we have to make 100 such videos for ruining our blockbusters 😂 Go get a life kiddos.
Bro you told he makes all tamil remakes, but no bro you have to see his old original kannada movies where rajini acted as side & supporting roles, & his Nagarahavu 1972 movie was his first hero acted cinema where every other industry remade that, & no version matched the kannada version.
Also his yajamana movie remake of tamil vana thaippola was better than vijaykanths acting...! & super hit kannada movie...!
His old movies were not so remakes.

A man who introduced 2 Cr collection for the first ever time in a single theatre in the history of South Indian Cinema, Dr Vishnuvardhan Sir. It took 11 years (more than a whole decade, that too by India's biggest film Bahubali to break his previous record and that 6 years after the legend departed).. Such was his mania, craze. He was a DEMI God. Bollywood Star AKSHAY KUMAR said: 'He was god. Men women and children came to be touched by him, newly born were named after him. I can never be a bigger star than he was'.. when he passed away Karnataka Assembly was stopped. From CM, MPS, MLAs, Legends like Amitabh Bachan, Aamir khan, mohanlal, Mammooty, Kamal, Rajini etc payed their condolences to Vishnu sir.. Around 500+ statues of his are installed all over Karnataka and 70+ books written on him. In Kengeri Bengaluru , a 14.5 km road is named aftr him and it is the longest road in asian continent to be named aftr a celebrity. Hemamalini said, vishnuvardhan is the most handsome actor ive ever worked with.. His name still mints money at the box office. Sudeep acted as his fan in the film vishnuvardhana (Superhit), he acted in kotigobba 2 as a tribute again where Kotigobba 1 starred Vishnu Dada. That was hit too. Upendra copied his film Name Naagarahavu. Shivarajkumar played his fan in Srikanta. Darshan copied his blockbuster film name Yajamana, and here its Ramachari (The name of Vishnuvardhan sir's character in NAGARAHAVU, the legend's 1st film as a hero). Vishnu Sir's name has the power.. It's an emotion for Kannadigas. Ruled the industry for 4 decades like an emperor, yet dada had no link ups or affair rumours about him. Not a single black mark. Cricketer ANIL Kumble said, 'I've always been his Dan. We've grown up watching his films. Vishnu sir was the most dignified superstar, I've ever known'. His Baare Baare from Kannada film Nagarahavu was the first ever slow motion song in Indian Cinema. His Muthina Haara in early 80s was made with a budget of 1.75 crore, a budget even Bollywood was scared to touch. Records, Records and Records.. He was a hero without an image. He was an action hero, he was a family hero, he was women's favorite (especially because he respected women a lot even in real life and in every film of his, he insisted writers to include dialogues that respected women to positively influence his fans), He played comedy roles.. Name it and he used to master it with perfection. Pls react to a few videos of dada. Ull see the inbuilt style and swag in his acting. Others have to try being stylish. Vishnu Dada had style within himself. Phoenix of Indian cinema for a reason

Fact is Baasha itself a remake of Hindi movie Don starred by Amithabh. Anyways i didn't touch heroes are worshipped as legends of their states. But what i observed in other areas is the villains who are dummy pieces in kottigobba. Ashish vidyarthi was good actor though was very average in that movie, he was familiar only when he did Ghilli. The supporting actors of Kottigobba is shit as they are even not worth comparing to atmosphere artists in Baasha. Such as Hero's right hand, Villain at intermission, College dean etc., Such pathetic acting. In Baasha, Janagaraj, Nagma, Vijayakumar, Anandraj, Charanraj are just explosive acting. I respect vishnuvardan, but that means the movie isn't worth to compare. Such a shit with rest of others in that movie.
