Of all the lower-key, lesser known Disney movies, Bolt is one of the better ones, and it has perhaps the best middle act out of all of them. Mostly for this short sequence being absolutely beautiful. Seeing Bolt finally snapping out of his delusions of living in the film world and being a real dog with help from such an unlikely source in Mittens was marvelous indeed. This song added so much, that I honestly got a little choked up at this scene. The rest of the movie was obviously great, but this second act, and the song sequence seared into my mind and is the moment in Bolt I remember the most, simply for being wonderful in its presentation, execution, and what it would all lead up to.
Ik, this reminds me of the 2009 trip I took with my grandma, cousin, mom, and my two sisters, we went to Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Virginia beach, and spent some time at a resort in colonial Williamsburg, we had so much fun at Busch gardens, it will be a trip I will remember for my whole life. Such a profound song. It has a lot of meaning to it. Regardless of if you have a nice home or not or even a nice family or not, you will value it because it is familiar and because it is yours.
"This is totally awesome". Sums up my thoughts about the whole film. I watched it on BBC3 over Christmas and I absolutely adored it. Bolt is one of the cutest, most adorable animated characters ever created. I read a great review the other day saying that the message of the whole film was basically "Your dog loves you, so go home and give him a hug".
The thing I love most about this scene is that it is so patriotic in a subtle way. They are traveling across the whole country, witnessing the beautiful landscapes fly by, as a song about loving your home plays in the background. Yeah, the focus is directly on Bolt learning to be a “real dog” and finding a “home” in the company of his new friends, and making his way back towards his home with Penny. But I can’t help but pick up on the more subtle idea: that the United States is vast and beautiful and we need no other reason to love it but that it is our home. And it’s the only home we as Americans have got. This also fits into the movie’s take on the Hollywood “life in the fast lane,” and how the coastal people often miss out on the slower but peaceful and beautiful country life. The life that Penny and Bolt end up in when they leave the show business and buy a house somewhere in the open country.
Bolt is the one of my best childhood cartoon. This cartoon is really genius and family friendly. I thank the people who made this cute cartoon. I promise I will watch this cartoon again with my future children.

I’m nearly 20 and still have Woody by me. I take him on all my travels and Jessie too. Mummy hates it but I don’t care because they are and always be my beloved toys
@@nicolelawless3199 that's something special yet sacred right there, i respect it😔👏

It is, I loved Jessie all my life and my Woody belongs to my sister really but she gave him to me when they sadly separated 5 years ago but my sister still sees Woody everyday
This movie will forever be in my heart 🥹
This brings me back to a time I was happier. Now being a young adult makes me have this overwhelming sense of existenciality
The times when I wasn’t falling out with my beloved war of 10 years. We’re back to our old ways now and it feels great honestly. I couldn’t believe how happy my mother is now that we’ve sorted everything out. I know Prince Philips death wasn’t easy to cope with but we pulled through together
2023 anyone still here?
In Spanish mitten's voice is so high lol

The raining part makes me in tears seeing bolt's smile just makes imagine my past life living with my dad and me and him watch bolt all the time
The one music vid I watch over and over and over and it STILL makes me all teary and warm and toasty inside :)
This and Wall-E are the only Disney movie that makes me cry every time I watch them.
There is no home like the one you've got, because that home belongs to you....
I was only 8 when I watched this movie and now I'm already 18. This song brings back alot of memories
I had a bolt themed cake and it came with a plastic bolt cake topper that I loved SO SO MUCH
I want a cake with the Queen and Prince Philip together for my 20th birthday. That’ll be a great tribute to him
This and Cars "Life is an Highway" gives cross-country roadtrip feeling.
As a uk person this montage is one of the things from my childhood that made America seem so incredible
This movie came out when I was four, but I watched it every now and then when I was 7 or so. I don't remember much of it except this sequence. Truly some awesome memories of my childhood. I might go and watch it again for the sake of nostalgia haha.
“There is no home like the one you’ve got cause that home belongs to you.” This means so much to me as I know this is true
I watched this movie like 80 times, and I somehow cried EVERY. SINGLE. TIME
