Hi Alex, sorry for the slow reply. I use an ICOM IC-41 Pro UHF radio, it is very robust and easy to use. I am still running the original Goodyear Adventure All Terrain tyres and they have been very good both on and off road for my use. When you get your new Defender let me know and it would be our pleasure to go out for a drive.

Hi Which engine does your 110have?

Hi Graham, It’s a D240 SE. I was concerned that the 2 litre diesel may lack some power but it is very punchy for a vehicle of its size and it is very economical. We love it.

@@upoveraround644 Hi I have been considering a D200 but like you I'm concerned it will be a bit low powered.

The 110 weighs 2.5 tons and the D200 (2.0 L 4 cyl) produces 147Kw and 430Nm which is the same as a 2019 D-Max. And unless you wanted to tow the full 3.5 ton every day it would be ok. But of course the new D200 (3.0L 6cyl) produces 147Kw and 500Nm torque but is only available in the 90 in Australia, for the 2021MY 110 the smallest is the new D250 with 449Kw and 570Nm. I am very happy with the performance of my D240 but I am yet to see how it goes towing our new 3.5ton van we will be getting soon. But I am sure it will be ok.

@@upoveraround644 Im looking at a 90 S 6cly D200 or 4pot P300 the D200 is a bit cheaper so more achievable may have to drop spec to get the P300.

The P300 is very zippy especially in the 90. It all depends on what you want to do with it. The P300 will be better suited to city commuting and will be more than ok for regular off roading. Plus it will not need ad-blue or regular DPF burns. However if you are interstate touring/towing the D200 would be the better engine as it would be more economical and have better torque. It all depends on what you intend to do with it. Either way I would love to know what you get.
