@Mitchell Mosley they do have similarities but to be fair the chosen one is a huge trope and Percy Jackson has its own world and charms. Personally I like the sarcasm and the first person prospective and the idea of makeing greek mythology a real thing. Harry potter is a series entirely made up without anything to really go off on so the book series (or the first part of it) is mainly set for world building, wonder and imagination while Percy jackson gets into a journey with action. They both have their perks and the things that make them great so it's not fair to call one a rip off of the other.
The amount of students who listen to this because they don’t like to read worries me. Mainly because this was one of the series that got me into reading as a child 😂

I read harry potter and finished the series then I was trying to find a good book to read and found percy jackson, maybe it isn't quite as good but it's fun,I read Percy Jackson first and then my brother wanted to hear it so we listened to this video and it's so cool and Hamish did such a good job thanks for it Hamish.: )
