There times Israel's silence to the Iranian threat is the best strategy. Israel has said enough. Just recall how the Philistines Goliath taunted Israel and when God sent the young boy David to tackle him, Goliath laughed. Similarly recall the 1967 war. Israel actions speak louder than her enemies noise. I think that's very smart strategy especially with Iran and all her adversaries.

Hamas stoll the sovereignty and murdered many Arabs to retain it. PA obtained Gaza from Israel via Oslo Accords. Israel obtained Gaza from Egypt after they lost the war with Israel and didn't want it back. The (new) state of Israel was legally voted in by the UN in 1948 removing the held over name from neumerous colonial empires. Palestine was an "area" held by Britain via official mandate from the League of Nations after Ottoman Turks lost their stronghold of the region post WW1. The Ottomans became the regional colonial power calling it Ottoman Syria (after the Mamluk saltanate lost control) and instigated a number of Pogrums. Thus slaughtering the majority population of Jews/Judeans over several hundred years.
The Mamluks of Egypt capture the region from the 9th Christian crusader rule. The Christian crusader rule gained the region from Ayyabid dynasty, calling the region "Outremer" and established the Kingdom of Jerusalem that ranged from Syria to Egypt and from the coast to Jordan.
Before this was the Fatimid Caliphate who fought the Seljuk Turks and Bedouin for control slaughtering many Christians and Jews. Before that The al-Dawla reign calling the region The Emerate of Aleppo.
Before that the Abbasid Caliphate takes control from the Umayyads caliphate who took control from the Rashidun Caliphate who had eventually destroyed the Byzantine Empire stronghold before that.
The Byzantium (2nd Roman) empire gained, lost and regained control of the region from The Sasanian Persian Empire, Samaritans and the Judean/Jewish populous. The region is renamed by dividing it into provinces: Palaestina Prima, Palaestina Salutaris, which is divided even further with Palaestina Secunda and the former Palaestina Salutaris is renamed Palaestina Tertia. The Judean Sanhedrin of the jewish council is also disbanded. The Rabinate schools remain.
Before the Byzantines was the Palmyrene Empire, who conquer most of the old Roman east arena including Syria-Palestina.
They were preceded by the 1st Roman Empire who, in 136CE, destroyed the last warriors of Judean resistance across the tri-kingdoms of Judea/Samaria/Northern Israel. From this defeat Emperor Hadrian renamed the entire Lavantine costal area, Syria-Palestina and renamed Jerusalem as the Roman colony of Aelia Capitolina.
Before the Romans were invited to spend time in Israel, the Greeks had some interesting times with the Hasmoneans, before them were The Seleucids and they put an end to the Judean Maccabees who put an end to the Greek pagan worshipers who were ruling over the Judeans and nothern Isralites since the days of Alexander the Great. Eventually they outlawed Judaism, then reinstating it.
Before all this is the ancient Biblical period.

In no records of antiquity has there ever been findings of a culture or group of Arabian origined people called Palestinians. No archaeological finds, no art, artifacts, documents, monuments or carvings. Nothing.

Soviet Cold War strategies took over, creating the idea of a disruptive force to undermine US influence in the Lavant region with a slow de-education of the next set of generations. Israel is a country that NEVER fought a powerful opponent hasn't fought an opponent with an actual military in over 50 yrs. Israel has always had most of its military provided. Even under those circumstances, Israel hasn't been impressive lost to Hezbollah, and currently, with their provided military and billions, in additional aid from the US, it hasn't come close to reaching its military objective in Gaza. I have a question for Israelis: What if the US stopped providing aid, or what if the US were to arm one of your enemies as much as the US arms you?? IDF isn't that good.

Why are we speaking of a cease fire? At the end of WWII there was a surrender, not a cease fire. Hamas started the current conflict. Their unconditional surrender to Israel and return of all the hostages to Israel is really the only way forward.
