I had visited in november last this year and they said the price is 18000 for one floating room per day.and there are lots of restrictions also.so i have booked leroi hotel room in 5500 which is good and approx 15km away from these huts if you go from new tehri side.room ha e lake view as well good experience.

It is not picturesque and rates are madly high. There is just a lake and water sports activity which could be extremely enjoyable if done on a beach.
I would highly recommend not to go there as these have become highly commercial places to extort money with no fun and scenic beauty at all.😊 The activities are very expensive. The places doesn't deserve a special place in itinerary. If you are passing by then it's ok😊

@@SierraAlpha-xw4lj It's a so interesting to know about how people were shifted from DAM site to new tehri.
Though lot of money was given to these people they lost their culutre. Many people did not get money though some got extra money. It was that whoever was powerful and had links got good deal otherwise others did not get good money. Most important thing is how because of dam life around this area is affected. I am sharing this on the basis of people who wtinessed this happening there. Another important thing is that Uttarakhand govt has failed to develop this as tourist spot. Charges are very high for boating and stay. Even local shopkeepers are charging very high at boating area. 80 ruppes for nimbu paani. To know about history of dam and other aspects of dam its worth visit but just for fun and enjoyment its waste😊
