Between Western Washington and BC the flatter environment where towns and cities are have very little space until they hit mountainous terrain. Therefore a lot of gravel riding looks like this, some road, some logging roads or forrest service routes and then a lot of rolling single track. Hikers and MTBers reign supreme in these areas, but if you're interested in taking your gravel bike handling skills to another level you can make it (with the right kind of attitude) on some of these courses like the BWR race or stuff you can come across on Ride With GPS, Strava and the Gravel Adventure Field Guides. 💪🤙
Very exciting course. Am surprised to see those technical descents and agree that it does look like a mountain bike course. But the start/finish area is nice as is the forest. How many participants were there and what was your final time?
Great work guy’s. Good to see you back.
Thank you! I feel like my old self again!

BC gravel riding can be quite challenging!
That's a good way to stay in shape
Yes it is!
Keen to try it one year. Looks great. Nice vid as always and now I’ve tried making a race vid, much respect. It’s not easy 😉
It can be challenging! Hope you had a good time at TransRockies!
@@PiquePictures great time thanks. Really nice vibe there this year with the event village and chillville zone

We’re not sure how many people competed. We finished in just over 3 and a half hours.
