@@ruth4019as you look up the word sceptre you will see that it can be interpreted as staff as in a shepherd or as a rod for a disciplinarian or lawgiver, perhaps teacher. I see the book of Jonah's point is that Jonah was mad because the people repented. He would have rather have seen the destruction of Ninevah. This is shown in the story of the shade over his head being destroyed and him getting mad. This story illustrates how many Christians see the world. They want to see God come back and destroy the world more than they want people to repent.
And sadly think nothing of leaving their pets and livestock to fend with their fate when christians are raptured. I had a dog and thought about that. Torah says to feed your animals before yourself. G'd of Torah cares about animals; even how they're slaughtered. Christians feel no shame in this regard to Rapture. The world moves forward with light.

My wife, a total Atheist, from a Catholic background, attended a seminary which made fun of the story of the flood and other religious events which caused her to drop out and become an Atheist. She looks upon other descriptions of a flood as proof against the story of Noah. I’m a secular Jew, who believes there’s a God, creator of the universe. But it makes no sense to me that such a creator would care about what I eat or whom I love. To me, what Rabbi Singer says makes sense that it’s more likely that there was a world-wide flood, because of the various descriptions of floods from various sources. But that a man named Noah collected two of every animal onto his boat, is virtually impossible.
Perhaps not? since collecting in pairs as embryos could've been possible with help from angels. We are used to thinking a certain way. The Hopi and Navajo have emergent accounts from having lived in subterranean caves as big as cities after a cataclysmic global event. They immigrated north from South America to their present location at the famous Three Corners. They also say another catastrophe is coming. It has all been kept within their Oral history and sacred dances that they're losing as their children choose modernity.

Noah made a record of the events of the global flood. Noah was not the first person to predict the flood, Enoch was. But Noah recorded the actual event, but so did each of his sons after they grew up and moved away from their father. Each of those sons experience the flood differently from how their father did, so they rendered that record from their own perspective. Then that perspective was passed down to each of their children who added their own memories to it, which accounts for why each flood story and every culture has major similarities, but also some differences.
I have heard some Rabbis would say there is no God. Why do Rabbis say that and does Rabbi Tovia believe that too? Also, I am curious if Rabbi Tovia is aware of the alternative Christian belief that Jesus is not God? That the Romans made all that up about Jesus. And the reason for Jesus' ministry was to turn the people back to God. We believe all Religions are false and are substitutes for God. God is not Religion. We worship the One True God. There is no Trinity. One of the focal points of Jesus' ministry was to not harass the Pharisees but what he was doing was denouncing Religion. And it says in both the OT and NT that "no one seeks God". Jesus came that the people would seek God in truth and in spirit. When people seek "god" they ultimately find Religion. But seeking "God" also entails seeking in Truth and when we do that Jesus tells us if we seek we will find, knock and it shall be opened and ask and ye shall receive. Jesus' followers were anti-Religion. They worshipped God alone. But over time, the Romans hijacked Christianity and in AD380 overlaid it with their Pagan belief system. Then they proceeded to hunt down and kill the true Christians. Additionally, I have also heard that the Jewish faith was "adjusted" around the same time period or 4th century AD. Can Rabbi elaborate on these things and why in particular that (other than the Temple not being there) why there is such a big difference from Jewish religion as recorded in the NT compared to what we see today in Judaism? Also, why do Jews go to Synagogue? There were no Synagogues in the OT. These only came about when the Romans took over. Did the Romans have the Jews make them? We know there were Synagogues in Jesus' time but the Temple was still there too. So why are there Synagogues in the NT and did the Romans hijack Judaism like they did Christianity? When I was going to the Catholic church, they told me that the church "service" was designed to match that of the Jewish "service". Is that Roman influence? Now, what is the deal with "services"? In the OT, the people just took sacrifices to the Temple. They didn't gather to hear a sermon from the priest. The priests' job was only to kill the animal on the altar for the people. If there was a reading, it was only on special occasions. And usually it wasn't the priest as all they knew to do was offer sacrifices upon the altar. Readings were typically given by "scribes" or "prophets" who studied the old texts. I know this is a long question but if you can, elaborate on how today is different than 2000 years ago. And if Jews would say God is not Religion.
Some food for thought: Nineveh did not convert to Judaism, become Noahide or anything of that nature; there is no historical reference that they changed their religious beliefs, they just abandoned earlier practices that God considered abhorrent. I'm sure there is a lesson there to be learnt...
Changing a practice definitely requires a change in one's theology. We are not told what they were doing that Hashem deemed abhorrent. Human sacrifice? If that was it or even part of it, it meant leaving that deity that required it. W/o anything further the Ninavites were told to stop doing, I'm guessing mind you, but I think they must've decided the G'd of Jonah was better than their's. Why else would they quit what they were doing? No one does that w/o conviction. Christians are understandably struggling with the new paradigm that sounds to them like blasphemy. But honestly, what kind of god demands belief in the sacrifice of a human to be pardoned of sin for favor? The narrative says a just and righteous one. I definitely do not want to spend eternity with that even if souls do not suffer in hell or are forever dead w/o suffering.

You do not understand that ALL of these "Faiths" have ONE THING IN COMMON, (except a real Christian that is), and that is, THEY HAVE NEVER HEARD THE VOICE OF GOD BEFORE, SO THEY HAVE NO REALITY OF GOD, which is the very reason why she is leaving !! So if you have NEVER heard the Voice of God before, or you do not have the REALITY OF GOD, when you are seeking God in the New Testament, WHY would you go BACKWARDS into the Old Covenant which does not EXIST anymore, or become a Hindu or Buddhist, and STILL NOT HEAR THE VOICE OF GOD OR HAVE THE REALITY OF GOD ?? Don't you understand what the New Covenant is all about ?? It is about God REVEALING HIMSELF TO YOU IN REALITY BY HIS SPIRIT, NOT being "taught" by "man". I’m a Jew, I do believe in G/d. But the fact is Noah’s Ark never happened, the fact that other cultures have flood myths only shows that people have always lived near water, and flash flooding and tsunamis were real dangers that struck without warning and could wipe out entire communities in seconds. If Noah’s Ark was historically true there wouldn’t be flood myths from other parts of the world because according to scripture everyone else on earth died in the flood, there would have been nobody in let’s say China to write about a world wide flood because everyone in China before 4,000 ago died in the flood. I believe Noah’s Ark is an allegory. As my Rabbi said “ some stories in scripture are truths with a big “ T” as in they are historically accurate. Other stories have a little “ t” meaning it’s not historical, but it still has meaning. A story doesn’t have to be historically true to have truth in it.

You recognize God as your only savior, your only deliverer, yet Moses is called the deliverer in the Torah. God is also the only Savior for Christians, yet Jesus is called the savior because he, like Moses is the one who was sent to save the Jews from sin and death. Those words Savior and deliverer are relative to the one who sent them. They are like the ship's Captain who sends his sailors to save a drowning man. Who do you credit for saving the drowning man, the sailors who actually did it, or the captain who sent out the command?

The Catholic church is considered the foremost Christian Church, even though they do not follow Christ at all, but they follow the Pope. The Orthodox Church is not far from Catholics and their belief system. True Christians follow what the Bible teaches, what Jesus teaches directly from scripture. The book of Hebrews is credited with having been written by Paul. Paul was the quintessential jew, a Pharisee. To imply that he knew nothing about Judaism is completely absurd! Paul was living in the age of the second temple when animal sacrifices were still being offered. No Jew living today knows anything about that from experience! In fact, the Judaism which exists today is rabbinical Judaism. It is as far away from true Judaism as Catholicism is from Christianity!

God does not ever make human sacrifices lawful or even acceptable. This concept is completely pagan and is abhorrent from Torah' point of view. You need to study Tanakh unbiased and with original word to word translations, instead of viewing it through Christian glasses.
What you said is profoundly false, and is NOT what God said to us at Mt. Sinai! You need to realize, research, and accept, that NOWHERE did God ever mention the "Jesus" character to us, NOWHERE did He tell us that we need to be "saved", and NOWHERE did He tell us that He requires HUMAN BLOOD (a purely pagan ritual that God ABHORS!!) as atonement for our sins. NO FURTHER SCRIPTURES were given to mankind by God AFTER Mt. Sinai, therefore, Christianity absolutely did NOT come from God! PLEASE buy a Hebrew Bible (says "Stone Edition TANACH" on the cover), and Rabbi Tovia Singer's books, as well as Rabbi Stuart Federow's book "Judaism and Christianity: A Contrast", to help you understand why Christianity absolutely did NOT come from God.
Understand your point. Don't despair. It was one reason I quit the whole bloody mess. Messianic believers in yeshua hold on not realizing or reject that point.
It's Noahite, not Noahide. Noahites are descendants of Noah, which we all are, including Jews. That ch at the end of Noah makes a k sound in Noahite. The mispronunciation of Noahhide is because people don't know how to deal with that ch.
I had a Jewish neighbor who absolutely did not believe the Jonas story, or the Noah story. And he blamed Christians for those stories believing it was from our Gospels. He thought those events were silly stories that we made up. I think this is an example of a Jew who did not read his own Bible, or did not believe his own Bible. But of course there are professed Christians who also don't believe the Bible. What a surprised that the Jew Matthew quotes from The book of Jonah? Why on Earth would a Jew quote from the Tanakh? Matthew was a Jew doing what Jews are supposed to do, be a light to the world! That's why Matthew was quoting from the book of Jonah. That's why the Jew Jesus was quoting from the book of Jonah! Jews today keep thinking that the whole purpose of the New Testament is to replace the Old Testament but nothing could be further than from the truth! Those Jews in the New Testament were doing their job as Jews trying to be a light to the Nations! Jesus was trying to take his message to the Jew first, and then to the gentile. The Jews were not accepting him, so he went to the second people on the list, the Nations! These are the instructions in the Tanakh! You recognize that Jonah was a reluctant prophet because he was afraid of the reaction of the Assyrians towards his message as a Jew. He was afraid they would not repent, and that they would blame him as a false prophet, and that they would attack Israel! That was a valid fear! Jesus was also a prophet like Jonah, who had to convince a bunch of violent people that he was a prophet who was delivering a message they did not want to hear that they should repent, and that their Temple was about to be destroyed! They didn't want to hear it! They wanted to hear that a prophet was going to come and vanquish the Romans, and bless their Temple. Instead this prophet pointed out that they had brought the image of Caesar into the temple on the face of the coins that they were using in the money changer's tables! This prophet instead pointed out their hypocrisies and the reason why the temple had become desecrated because of them! If the Temple of the most high God is desecrated, and the priesthood of the most high God is no longer functioning as loyal priests to him with clean hands, how can any animal sacrifice being offered be acceptable? This is why that prophet warned them that that Temple was going to be destroyed. They didn't want to hear that. They wanted to hear that their Messiah was going to come and drive the Romans out of Jerusalem and bless them in their Temple. How could he when they weren't doing what God told them to do?
“Matthew” is not the author of the booklet that bears his name. If Matthew was anything more than a fictional character, he was a semi-literate tax collector (it’s in the nt) who might have written a few words in Hebrew and Latin but certainly would not have been literate in the literary form of Koine Greek found in the booklets called the nt. Your unfortunate acquaintance was likely a secular Jew, alas. Jesus was not the messiah because he sinned and did not repent. He also taught contrary to the Torah on dozens of occasions.
@@AdaraBalabusta , Matthew was a tax collector for the romans, therefore he would have had to have some education to be able to record the names and the amounts of taxes owed and paid. Therefore it's very likely that Matthew could have written his own book. But even if he did not write it himself, he certainly could have dictated it to someone else who could write. Jesus did not sin so he had no need to repent.
So, if Jesus was sinless, he cannot be the Messiah, because the Messiah will bring a sacrifice for his sin Ezekiel 45:22 also numbers 23:19 God speaking I am not a man named Jesus and I don’t change my mind and add a new testament to my holy Hebrew scriptures

God himself CALLED the sons of God by the title gods at Psalm 82. Even Moses was CALLED a god by God at Exodus 4:16 and exodus 7:1. So it should not be a surprise to any Jew that one of those sons of God could place himself in opposition to God as a rebel from the garden of Eden to the end of time, and be known as the God of this world who blinds the minds of the unbelievers according to 2 Corinthians 4:4. Someone posed as that serpent in the garden who misled Adam and Eve and cause them to rebel against the true God. We know it wasn't just a snake. That snake represents someone, one of those rebellious sons of God described at Psalm 82. It was one of those who is described in the first chapter of Job.

Jews consider God their husband. Christians consider Jesus the son pf the marriage of God and the Jews. The church is the bride of the son of God and the Jews.
The Christian Bible IS the Tanakh, and the Gospels. 2000 years is a long time in our time, but it's only 2 Days in God's time. So Jesus has been in heaven with God for 2 days. The generation that would not pass away before all these things occur is the generation of the Holocaust. All of the apostles passed away before the destruction of the Temple, except for John. That was the things that would occur before that generation passed. The greater fulfillment is the global fulfillment whereas the Jews of the Holocaust will not pass away until all these things occur because they are the Jews who are seeing all these prophesied things in one generation. The Jews as God's chosen people are the epicenter of all these events. Whether it's simply on the level of the nation of Israel, or whether it's on a global level, the Jews are the epicenter! Paul was never teaching that we don't have to keep the law anymore! That is a gross misunderstanding of Paul and what he said in Hebrews and in Romans! Paul's reference to the law was a reference to the Mosaic law which included the statutes and the ordinances pertaining to the Stone Temple. Jesus reiterated the Ten commandment law throughout the book of Matthew, and he pointedly told his followers to follow those Commandments! Why didn't Jesus tell his followers to continue to follow the statutes and ordinances of the Stone Temple? He did not tell them to follow those statutes and ordinances of the Mosaic law because the Stone Temple was going to be destroyed! Without the Stone Temple and without the levitical priesthood to operate the Stone Temple, the Mosaic law was all but dead! So Jesus himself became the temple, and Jesus himself maintained the law of Moses by fulfilling the statutes and the ordinances as the Melchizedek priest making sacrifice of his own blood within himself as the temple. The Ten Commandments continued to be relevant as a continuing portion of the Messianic covenant just as those same Ten Commandments have been passed down through time in every single covenant from the Adamic covenant to the Noahic covenant to the Abrahamic covenant to the Mosaic covenant, to the Messianic covenant. And Jesus said there would be a new covenant which will again include those 10 Commandments. Those Commandments are God's basic laws forever!
@@AdaraBalabusta , Jesus never sinned, and he never taught contrary to the Torah. In fact, Jesus was a fundamental Torah teacher. What your rabbis are teaching today is not Torah, it is Talmud and Kabbalah and the traditions of the Jews. Jews today are no different than the Catholic papacy who is not teaching Christianity at all even while claiming to be the foremost Christian Church. Jesus was trying to get the Jews back to the Torah teaching and away from the traditions of the rabbis.
You keep saying that there is no Antichrist! Antichrist simply means; one who teaches against the Messiah, or one who puts himself in place of the Messiah. You already think that Jesus is just such a person who is pretending to be the Jewish Messiah! So from your perspective, Jesus himself would be an antichrist/anti Messiah. Likewise in christianity, we believe that there is a man who poses as Jesus, in Jesus place as if Jesus is dead, and who teaches against Jesus' teachings. For protestants, the Catholic papacy is antichrist, and out of that papacy will come a pope who is THE Antichrist. You once said on one of your shows that maybe Christians will think that the Jewish Messiah will be the Antichrist. Some Christians have indeed considered this possibility, but most Protestants believe it will be the last Catholic Pope. This is an area of considerable conflict among Christians. The Muslims themselves also have a messiah-like figure, who is certainly a candidate for the Antichrist. The end time preacher Nelson Walters has several shows on this subject that you may find interesting.

@@hereandnow990 While you say that Christians don't have accurate information about the Bible, their estimate about the building of the third temple would be wrong. How the feast of trumpets is considered the Jewish New Year while God commanded that the Passover/ Exodus should be the New Year for Israel? Exodus 12:1-2 (KJV) And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, 2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you. Jews have changed God's law.
There's several new years in Judaism. I think Passover is the start of the agricultural year. Rosh Ha shana is the high holy days for repentance . I studied these things .
*Anyone who is observant, will recognise the FALSE claim of Tovia Singer, in this video! His interpretation of Ezekiel 45 is grossly error on at least 2 counts!* Read the following:- Ezekiel 45:7 *“And to the prince ( וְלַנָּשִׂ֡יא ) shall belong the land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city, alongside the holy district and the property of the city, on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary* 45:8 *of the land. It is to be his property in Israel.* And my princes ( נְשִׂיאַי֙ ) shall no more oppress my people, but they shall let the house of Israel have the land according to their tribes." THEN READ: Ezekiel 45:22 *"On that day the prince ( הַנָּשִׂיא֙) shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a young bull for a sin offering.* 45:23 And on the seven days of the festival *he shall provide as a burnt offering to the LORD seven young bulls and seven rams without blemish, on each of the seven days; and a male goat daily for a sin offering.* . 45:25 In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month and for the seven days of the feast, *he shall make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, and grain offerings, and for the oil."* THEN READ: Psalm 2 2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against *HIS ANOINTED* , saying, 2:3 “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.” 2:4 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision. 2:5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying, 2:6 “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.” 2:7 I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you. 2:8 Ask of me, and *I WILL MAKE THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH YOUR HERITAGE, and THE ENDS OF THE EARTH YOUR POSSESSION"* Clearly from the above information from the Tanach itself, we can see that Tovia's claims are in fact, FALSE! The person called the 'prince' נשׂיא is to be given a portion of land of Jerusalem in Ezekiel 45:7, the same prince נשׂיא who in Ezekiel 45:22, 23 and 25 will make a sin offering with a burnt offering. The same word נשׂיא appears in Exodus 22:27 where נשׂיא simply means 'ruler' Exo 22:27 אלהים לא תקלל ונשׂיא בעמך לא תאר and in this case, in English it simply says: "Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people." - It has NOTHING to do with the Messiah. Its a word used to mean 'ruler', 'chief', 'leader'. This word נשׂיא appears 134 times in the Tanach. Furthermore, in Ezekiel 45:8, the same word נשׂיא is used by the author referring to a third person pronoun instead of singular in the verse: Eze 45:8 ולא־יונו עוד נשׂיאי את־עמי והארץ "and my princes shall no more oppress my people;" - which if Tovia's idea that this word means 'Mashiach' then *according to this same passage, there will be many Mashiachs in this Temple. Obviously Tovia's interpretation is in error here!* When we read Psalm 2, it is clear that *the Promised Messiah is NOT coming to be given a small portion of land in Israel, but on the contrary, he is going to be given the NATIONS OF THE EARTH FOR HIS HERITAGE AND THE ENDS OF THE EARTH FOR HIS POSSESSION!* *In summary: Ezekiel 45 MAKES NO MENTION OR REFERENCE TO THE MESSIAH and the person translated as 'Prince' is a ruler of the Temple (ie a Levite Priest who in the law is allowed to make burnt sacrifices to Hashem). The Promised Mashiach however is NOT a Levite, but is from the line of David and therefore NOT permitted to make sacrifices to Hashem, but the Mashiach will receive the ENDS OF THE EARTH/ THE NATIONS FOR HIS POSSESSION - not a small parcel of Land in Israel!!*

Tovia the Terrific!!!❤
May I suggest? Both of you get into learning the mystical meaning of each alef bet? And your language. There are many excellent teachers on YT. Just find a presenter who is able to explain it simply. Yaakov Marcus, Mordecai Kraft, Ephraim Palvanov I've found do well. Let the problem about Noah alone.

But we need her father's name unless /until she converts.

I am living in South Africa and I don't think I will be able to ask a question for Rabbi Tovia. I have a question in relation to Isaiah 65:20
"There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed."
which is about the new heaven and earth and seems to contradict Rabbi Tovia's statement in this video that "there will be no intentional sin when the Messia reigns" although Isa 65:20 says "for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed" which seems that there will be sin that will lead to a curse?
It would be wonderfull if Rabbi Tovia could explain Isa 65 and esspecially verse 20 in a video for us explaining the sin part and also if people will die during the Messia reign.

I respectfully say you missed the point of that comment.
It's Noahite, not Noahide. Noahites are descendants of Noah, which we all are, including Jews. That ch at the end of Noah makes a k sound in Noahite. The mispronunciation of Noahhide is because people don't know how to deal with that ch.
And?
@@AdaraBalabusta ,
Matthew was a tax collector for the romans, therefore he would have had to have some education to be able to record the names and the amounts of taxes owed and paid.

Even Moses was CALLED a god by God at Exodus 4:16 and exodus 7:1.

Jews consider God their husband.
Christians consider Jesus the son pf the marriage of God and the Jews.
The church is the bride of the son of God and the Jews.
Wow! New blasphemies by the xtians.
Per the nt, Jesus sinned and did not repent. He also taught contrary to the Torah on many occasions.
@@AdaraBalabusta ,
Jesus never sinned, and he never taught contrary to the Torah.
Where in the Greek Testament does it mention the time frame for Jesus of 2,000 years is 2 days?
Jesus was not the messiah/christ. His followers have repeatedly attempted to destroy the son of G’d (Exodus 4 v 22).
So, Roshashana is the celebration of Adam's birthday, coronation of a king, and judgement day, but you admit that you dont get this from Torah but from tradition.
You can ask forgiveness on this day, without a sacrifice and be forgiven.
You admit that its not logical that Rosshahana is followed by the Day of Atonement.
This is why Jesus criticized jewish traditions whoch jews place above yhe yeaching pf Torah.

There's NO SUCH THING as "Old Covenant" and "New Covenant"! God only gave us ONE set of scriptures at Mt. Sinai, which He specifically told us is ETERNAL, and is therefore STILL in effect and binding TODAY - a LIVING document! NOWHERE did God EVER mention the "Jesus" character, NOWHERE did He tell us that we need to be "saved", and NOWHERE did He tell us that He requires HUMAN BLOOD (a purely pagan ritual that God ABHORS!) as atonement for our sins! please don't reinterpret the context... it's not "law of moses" in the sense of Moses has made the law... It is Law of moses in the sense of God HIMSELF has Given that law to Moses... it's not a law that had an end... It is for all of the days of the earth... It is not a law of works its a law of obedience and love of God... it is not a law of sin and death(thats so ridiculous) It's the law of life and to not obey will lead to death...powerless to save??? God saved many who obeyed his voice thats nonsense you...not earthly but holiness, I meanBlood of animals?? It was never about blood of animals... and if it is supposed to be written on the heart guess what... that prerequisite has not come yet... so for your christian bible to call itself the fulfillment of it is just wrong... and makes a false claim... it's soooo much wrong with what you got here and if i went into a full detail of it it would have been a longer response

Then the seers will be ashamed and the diviners will be disgraced. They will all cover their mouths because there is no answer from God.
As for me, however, I am filled with power by the Spirit of the LORD, with justice and courage, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin.
Now hear this, O leaders of the house of Jacob and rulers of the house of Israel, who despise justice and pervert all that is right, who build Zion with bloodshed and Jerusalem with iniquity.
Her leaders judge for a bribe, her priests teach for a price, and her prophets practice divination for money.
Yet they lean upon the LORD, saying, “is not the LORD among us? No disaster can come upon us."

While you say that Christians don't have accurate information about the Bible, their estimate about the building of the third temple would be wrong. According to the prophecy in Genesis 49:10, the authority and rule should be transferred to a significant figure instantly, not delayed. The fact that no significant figure emerged when Judah's monarchy came to an end suggests that it is a failed prophecy.

How the feast of trumpets is considered the Jewish New Year while God commanded that the Passover/ Exodus should be the New Year for Israel?
Exodus 12:1-2 (KJV)
And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,
2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.
Jews have changed God's law.
There's several new years in Judaism. I think Passover is the start of the agricultural year. Rosh Ha shana is the high holy days for repentance . I studied these things .
👍Pesach is birth of Israel as a nation and a new growing season.
*Anyone who is observant, will recognise the FALSE claim of Tovia Singer, in this video! His interpretation of Ezekiel 45 is grossly error on at least 2 counts!*
Read the following:-
Ezekiel 45:7 *“And to the prince ( וְלַנָּשִׂ֡יא ) shall belong the land on both sides of the holy district and the property of the city, alongside the holy district and the property of the city, on the west and on the east, corresponding in length to one of the tribal portions, and extending from the western to the eastern boundary*
45:8 *of the land. It is to be his property in Israel.* And my princes ( נְשִׂיאַי֙ ) shall no more oppress my people, but they shall let the house of Israel have the land according to their tribes."
THEN READ:
Ezekiel 45:22 *"On that day the prince ( הַנָּשִׂיא֙) shall provide for himself and all the people of the land a young bull for a sin offering.*
45:23 And on the seven days of the festival *he shall provide as a burnt offering to the LORD seven young bulls and seven rams without blemish, on each of the seven days; and a male goat daily for a sin offering.* .
45:25 In the seventh month, on the fifteenth day of the month and for the seven days of the feast, *he shall make the same provision for sin offerings, burnt offerings, and grain offerings, and for the oil."*
THEN READ:
Psalm 2
2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD and against *HIS ANOINTED* , saying,
2:3 “Let us burst their bonds apart and cast away their cords from us.”
2:4 He who sits in the heavens laughs; the Lord holds them in derision.
2:5 Then he will speak to them in his wrath, and terrify them in his fury, saying,
2:6 “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”
2:7 I will tell of the decree: The LORD said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.
2:8 Ask of me, and *I WILL MAKE THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH YOUR HERITAGE, and THE ENDS OF THE EARTH YOUR POSSESSION"*
Clearly from the above information from the Tanach itself, we can see that Tovia's claims are in fact, FALSE! The person called the 'prince' נשׂיא is to be given a portion of land of Jerusalem in Ezekiel 45:7, the same prince נשׂיא who in Ezekiel 45:22, 23 and 25 will make a sin offering with a burnt offering.
The same word נשׂיא appears in Exodus 22:27 where נשׂיא simply means 'ruler'
Exo 22:27 אלהים לא תקלל ונשׂיא בעמך לא תאר
and in this case, in English it simply says:
"Thou shalt not revile the gods, nor curse the ruler of thy people." - It has NOTHING to do with the Messiah. Its a word used to mean 'ruler', 'chief', 'leader'. This word נשׂיא appears 134 times in the Tanach.
Furthermore, in Ezekiel 45:8, the same word נשׂיא is used by the author referring to a third person pronoun instead of singular in the verse:
Eze 45:8 ולא־יונו עוד נשׂיאי את־עמי והארץ
"and my princes shall no more oppress my people;" - which if Tovia's idea that this word means 'Mashiach' then *according to this same passage, there will be many Mashiachs in this Temple. Obviously Tovia's interpretation is in error here!*
When we read Psalm 2, it is clear that *the Promised Messiah is NOT coming to be given a small portion of land in Israel, but on the contrary, he is going to be given the NATIONS OF THE EARTH FOR HIS HERITAGE AND THE ENDS OF THE EARTH FOR HIS POSSESSION!*
*In summary: Ezekiel 45 MAKES NO MENTION OR REFERENCE TO THE MESSIAH and the person translated as 'Prince' is a ruler of the Temple (ie a Levite Priest who in the law is allowed to make burnt sacrifices to Hashem).
And many delight in Paul about the Antichrist and god of this world when Christ referring to Daniel said.
John 14:30
King James Version
30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.
And though there was one before christ Maccabees but shortly after him..
26 And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
And after those sixty-two weeks, the anointed one will disappear and vanish. The army of a leader who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary, but its end will come through a flood. Desolation is decreed until the end of war.
That did has told in Daniel 11 the Greek
