Because of the live-your-best-life positivity movement. Everyone is scared of the dark side.

An amazing band with a lot of influences. Some tracks are Doomgaze, some grungy show gaze, this track is incredible it’s like Slowdive got depressed and started listening to Alcest

I'm not really familiar with Slowdive. I'm mostly getting Foals vibes from this song.

This song brings back all the goth girls from the dead. Legendary music. Fucking love these guys and their sound is insane. Been trying to build a similar soundboard since the first time I saw them live.

It's a shame there's no version of this song without the outro, otherwise this would go straight into my playlist.
I do appreciate the outro in the context of the album though.

the last 30 sec of the song remind me of soundtrack bg music on survival crisis z - if anyone remembers when that surfaced as madness interactive also took the flash games realm by storm. i have to wonder of osterman or the other members played that now unknown flash game. it successfully utilized dark tones in an engaging manner . similar to holy fawn, and even diablo II, it isnt easy to do or else more msuic would sound as good. SCZ def not as good as holy fawn. but it's nostalgic

This song is like damn near perfect but what's with the weird drum mixing from 4:20 - 4:35

Am I missing something? Just another part of the song in a shoegaze/post rock piece

Definitely hear some of that post-punk influence in the guitar tones and melodies

Yep agree both are in there, they draw influences from a lot of genres which makes their sound so good
