Assuming there was not future reading, how would Gautam Muni know RAM would visit their Ashram in the Future? Sounds a bit mystical.
Is it more along the lines, that Ram/Vishvamitra Muni evaluated the situation as per Dharma and determined that Ahalya has spent enough time in Tapasya and can be relieved of her curse?

The time between the episodes has unfortunately increased because the latest episodes are longer in duration. Now approximately 8 minutes long as compared to the earliest episodes that were 3-4 minutes. We are working to publish them as quickly as possible while maintaining the quality of research. But yes, long breaks between episodes are not good. So in Season 2, we will keep more episodes ready before we start publishing.

Hi. Few questions. On what basis does Sage Gautama says that, once Rama comes to the Ashram, the penance of Ahalya will be over ? Did he foresee that Rama and Vishwamitra will be in his Ashram in coming years ? Is there any mention of how many years did Ahalya do the Tapasya ? It would be enlightening if you could answer these. Thank you.

1. Indra was the same Indra - the king of gods.
2. Indra did really entered into the ashram in the form of Gautam Rishi.
3. Gautam Rishi cursed both Indra and Ahalya.
4. Ahalya turned into ashes (yea mentioned in Valmiki Ramayan). As Gautam Rishi said you will regain your original form only after offering your hospitality to Shree Ram and then you will regain your purity and you would be free from curse.

In ramacharithmanas tulasi das tell that ahalya was cheated. She had no idea that it was Indra.
But here in Valmiki Ramayana it's like she willingly slept and did talk about satisfaction and then ask Indra to go before Gautam comes.
So ahalya knew that it was Indra. And she cheated on her husband!?

Just as having an extramarital affair is personal choice. Dealing with the aftermath is also the couple's prerogative. At the end of the day all that matters is consent.
Bro whenever you have any doubt about any version of ramayana and valmikis one it is always preferred to take valmiki s one as authentic source because it is the only source of all ramayana. Tulsidas was born in 15th century , he certainly can't be more true than valmiki himself .

The whole theme of "Better Call Saul" is how a person still rises up as a person due to the mistake he committed, but unfortunately, he wasn't as purified as Ahalya.
Ahalya is purified that's why she would allow others (other than her husband ) to sleep with her. Pure indeed.

This story is untrue. Many verses have been added to Ramayana. True story was told by Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati. Think it yourself is it possible that a enlightened Rishi would marry a ordinary lady. Ahalya Mata was enlightened too. No such infidelity ever happened.
Anybody can make mistakes. You should have the power to overcome it. That's what vedic thought says. Nobody's perfect.

There is a mention of yavanas, same thing happens in kishkindha kand, prose 43, there also is a mention of not only yavanas but kurus and shakas too.
So how is it possible that valmiki ji is writing about these clans and empires wayyyyyyyy before they even formed, as if they are contemporaries?

Vishwamitra have a daughter shakuntala whose mother was menaka . Shakuntala and dushyant son was bharat whose decendents are kurus . The story of vishwamitra and menaka was even many years ago before ram . It means kurus already there
