Such iconic builds! The Thomas franchise seems to be ageless…my kid loved these toys many yrs ago. And one day I could be building these Thomas items with their kiddo. Liked them all! Here’s an idea….20 LEGO things from classic Christmas movies, like Elf, Christmas Vacation, Jingle All the Way, Polar Express, Grinch, Rudolph, Charlie Brown Christmas, etc. Happy Christmas season to you!

Thanks for the suggestion about the classic Christmas movie things - I was wondering what to do for a pre-Christmas Christmas video this year and maybe this could be the answer, if I can think of the stuff to build anyway - thanks for getting me started with a few ideas! :-)

@@GoldPuffin hey mr gold .things are great.jody has been home cents oct 10.she was losing weight in the nursing home.i got her home and she went from 108 to 122 and she feels great .thanks for caring .the youtube folks i sub to have been a lot of help to me at a time when i reaally needed it.
Suggestion: rolling stock and coaches that can connect to each other

While some of the techniques you used made some of the characters look funny (for example Thomas, Oliver, and James with their wheel configurations), it's still amazing how perfectly you replicate them. Subscriber earned

I used to watch Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends in Gulli and France 5 in France in my childhood.
Nice! :-) I don't actually remember watching Thomas and Friends in my childhood (I remember my little brother watching it) but I do remember reading the books and it's so nostalgic thinking of those! (Especially the one where Thomas delivers a Christms tree, and the one where Henry refuses to come out of the tunnel and it gets bricked up in front of him)

Percy was maybe my favourite too, it's hard to remember though. I liked Edward as well...
I remember when there was just Thomas, Percy, Gordon, James, Harold and Bertie! Since when was there a bloody boat?!
Don't forget Edward and Toby - they are also originals, and also Skarloey was in the original books in the 1950s.
I don't know when that lifeboat appeared to be honest but apparently there's about a dozen boats in it! I just chose the one that looked like it was the most original / famous out of the boats but to be honest I'm not really sure, lol
Captain was first in the 2010 film misty island rescue
But there are well over 100 Thomas Characters

1:31 thomas’s wheel configuration is not like that.
1:57 james is not a a engine with 2 bogeys james is a 2-6-0 LNYR class 28 an experimental.
2:40 Diesel is not like that Diesel is a O8 Diesel shunter which is a 0-6-0.
Yes, you're right of course. Maybe if I did bigger versions with perhaps 100 pieces then I could correct these inaccuracies!
