We were on the Sky is April in exact room! I learnt a few things from this video. Makes me want to go again on the Ocean Cruise. Booked another River Cruise for 2020!
Great video! I miss cruising so much, now you both have made we want to go on one even more. Have got two booked with Viking next May in 2022 and one in 2023, can’t wait and fingers crossed we will have some sort of idea towards the end of this year if it will be safe to do so. Stay safe👏👏🇦🇺
Hi, Leanne! Thank you so much for watching! I hope you're able to do both cruises with Viking. They are such a wonderful line. Fingers crossed indeed! :)
We have this exact room next year on the Viking Homeland cruise. The window/door are the most different I've ever seen. Did you enjoy it? Are all the penthouse verandas set up like that? I'm enjoying your presentation.
Hello! Some rooms have the door/window combo and some have a sliding door only. It was cool to have a window so you could see out when sitting on the couch but the door can be a bit heavy to open, especially while sailing. We hope that helps! Thanks so much for watching :)
Very informative. I assume there is room below the bed for luggage. Are the walls and door metal where we can use magnets to hang a door banner or wall hooks?
Hello and thanks for watching! Yes, there is ample room under the bed for suitcases. As for the door and walls, they are made of steel which attracts magnets, but if we remember correctly, the walls were also covered in a thin fabric so that might make it more difficult for magnets to stick. Hope that helps! Are you sailing on Sky in the future?
Hello! We honestly don't remember if it was possible to pull the TV away from the wall to swivel it. We did like how tight it was against the wall so it was never in the way while crossing the room. I'm sorry we aren't more help! But thank you for watching :)
Hi, Fadillah! You make a good point! However, Viking has decided not to keep life jackets in staterooms and instead keep them in storage areas at the muster stations. I believe this is a safety precaution as they do not want the hallways crowded with passengers running back to their rooms in an emergency.
This is the best room presentation we have seen, we look forward to seeing more from you both in the future!
That's so kind of you to say. Thank you for watching, Michael!

What a neat coincidence! We wish we could go back and sail again, too. Thanks for watching and have an amazing river cruise adventure next year :)

Such a good tour vid! So helpful and informative. How long did you guys stay there?
Thank you, Pure Wander! We did the 12-night "In Search of the Northern Lights" itinerary around Norway last month. We are still missing it!
Does the TV swivel?

We were on the Sky last year and the life jackets were not in the room they were at the Muster point.
