I was never sure about power levels of characters but lately Oda has implied that characters like Mihawk and Rayleigh are indeed Yonko level. Or in Rayleigh's case, was in his prime. I am also leaning towards 4 billion berry. Crazy to think that Roger had 3 Yonko level crew mates in Rayleigh, Gaban and Oden. Though Gaban is still to be confirme but at this point I wouldn't be surprised. And another crewmate moved on to actually become a Yonko. Tough to say if Shanks is stronger than prime Rayeligh since we don't know much about his prime. But at this point, nothing is gonna surprise me.
I liked the video but i think the comparison of rayleigh with kaido was a little unfair to rayleigh i think in his prime rayleigh would have been as strong as whitebeard or a little less as he was rogers firstmate. people underestimate roger too much also that man literally never lost to anyone and i don't think he ever even fought seriously i didnt see a single scene either in manga or episode where he was even sweating or even trying. to compare the four emperors is not at all right

From what I saw Zoro's main obstacles in that fight were the fact that King can't be damaged by regular haki and Zoro was suppressing his haki to keep Enma from killing him. He seemed to be doing just fine against King's strength and speed.

im a big fan of the books and im tired of the discussion about power. in my opinion theres a break even point of power.. on this level the charakters are just "different strong" not stronger. for me, that way helps me to enjoy the charakters more
Prime rayleigh is relative to his prime beard. Based on statements and what he implies himself. Rayleigh implies while fighting kizaru he could have done MORE in his youth to protect the strawhats while fighting kizaru, and kizaru doesnt like him saying that. The admirals were all pressuring whitebeard himself directly individually. Aokiji, kizaru and akainu, all could have badly hurt whitebeard individually, akainu DID, and whitebeard got help himself from his commanders. If old ray stalemating an admiral in kizaru is similar to old whitebeard having trouble with them though he can beat them, theyre relative. Garp himself said the WG shouldnt take on two legends in ray and wb at the same time, thats ray being in the same vein as wb in presence to the wg from garp himself who fought roger multiple times. Raylegh jas two advanced forms of haki just like his captain and whitebeard, advanced kings haki and armament, both offensively insane in output power where the wielders project their haki and dont have to connect. Prime ray is just above yonko to me right under his captain. Oden can immeditaely get up from an attack from roger and still go back for more. Oden could clash with whitebeard when they just met. Rayleigh would be able to do more than that being second in rogers crew, as a stronger oden, after sailing the seas returning to wano, could have beaten a younger kaido from back then. I was with you until you said Oden doesnt have CoC😭 When Oden scared Kaido is was only possible bcuz he had coc. Oda proved that by showing the ryou attacks were always too shallow. Only then when Zoro unlocked Advanced Coc was Kaido able to be cut.

Morj is someone who pushed this narrative and it never made sense to me. When oden first saw roger and whitebeard use advanved haki he was shocked, he couldnt use it himself and wondered why they didnt touch blades. Even though its confirmed he is stronger coming back to wano, its not confirmed he learned to do this. Truth is, kaido says to the scabbards themsleves RIGHT AFTER they attack him for the first time and i quote "how can they stab me? do they have odens ryuo too?". He says scared a bit and felt they were like oden for a moment, nothing of kings haki. If thats what it took all along, kaido would have just said so then and there like with luffy when luffy discovered advanved kings haki as from kaido himself, only the strongest being able to use it. Theres a flashback to when oden himself was teaching the scabbards ryuo, right before they attack kaido with paradise totsuka, odens old two sword style move, oden says "okay first of all heres the thing about ryuo, listen to me!". You must remember, this kaido is stronger than he was against oden, its going to take more to defeat him from back then, which makes sense this generation got the advanced applications of MORE haki types. Kaido also has advanced observation now, so he has all three advanced forms he never showed back then, and he still considers oden someone who could have beaten him BACK THEN, its clear hes stronger now and its clear it takes more to beat him why it seems like this generation needs kings haki to match oden from back then, they dont, they need advanced Kings and armament haki to match kaido blow for blow of RIGHT NOW including observation in its own way. That makes the most sense. Im going off direct quotes of the manga. But if you want to look at the narrative that way so be it. Even the wiki doesnt acknowledge oden as having advanved kings haki and they have a pretty solid group of fans who break down the japanese to interpret the manga themselves.

I do agree that Rayleigh touches yonko level but I don’t think he could beat Kaido or current Luffy since he doesn’t have many feats besides being stronger than Gabann who’s equal to Oden but Oden got a lot stronger later on during his journey as he stated himself and his fight with Gabann was early-ish during his journey so the question is if Gabann kept up and if Rayleigh did in fact stay stronger and even then Kaido is many times stronger than Oden currently
one thing i just realized is that Zoro didn't challenge him to a fight at sabaody.. i mean ok maybe he learned to sense who is stronger than him and what not, but i feel like they could at least have had a practice bout

Prime Rayleigh is probably Ben Beckman level who is yonko level (he's shown and stated as relative to shanks) so he's also stronger than kaido and gear 5 Luffy but weaker than shanks, mihawk, old Garp, dragon, and blackbeard.
bounty seems a bit high for rayleigh even tho he was the pirate kings right hand man, i don't think his bounty would be more then 2.5 billion, if kaido's and big moms first commanders are around 1 Billon and 1.3 Billion. Just don't think it would be that high

im a big fan of the books and im tired of the discussion about power. in my opinion theres a break even point of power.. on this level the charakters are just "different strong" not stronger. for me, that way helps me to enjoy the charakters more
Prime rayleigh is relative to his prime beard. Based on statements and what he implies himself. Rayleigh implies while fighting kizaru he could have done MORE in his youth to protect the strawhats while fighting kizaru, and kizaru doesnt like him saying that. The admirals were all pressuring whitebeard himself directly individually. Aokiji, kizaru and akainu, all could have badly hurt whitebeard individually, akainu DID, and whitebeard got help himself from his commanders. If old ray stalemating an admiral in kizaru is similar to old whitebeard having trouble with them though he can beat them, theyre relative. Garp himself said the WG shouldnt take on two legends in ray and wb at the same time, thats ray being in the same vein as wb in presence to the wg from garp himself who fought roger multiple times. Raylegh jas two advanced forms of haki just like his captain and whitebeard, advanced kings haki and armament, both offensively insane in output power where the wielders project their haki and dont have to connect. Prime ray is just above yonko to me right under his captain. Oden can immeditaely get up from an attack from roger and still go back for more. Oden could clash with whitebeard when they just met. Rayleigh would be able to do more than that being second in rogers crew, as a stronger oden, after sailing the seas returning to wano, could have beaten a younger kaido from back then. Rayleigh > oden. Oden did NOT display advanced kings haki, alot of people do not realize oden did nkt display that, oden was known by kaido as having ppwer ryuo alone and there is not panel of oden using advanced kings haki. Prime ray has advanced kings haki and armament. Thats the scaling guys. Prime ray is right below his captain, people say everyone overestimates ray but its clear the man deserves his praise.

I was with you until you said Oden doesnt have CoC😭 When Oden scared Kaido is was only possible bcuz he had coc. Oda proved that by showing the ryou attacks were always too shallow. Only then when Zoro unlocked Advanced Coc was Kaido able to be cut.
@@ZorOrdinary alot of that is head canon by story narrative because fans think thats what it takes, there are no statements that say this. Morj is someone who pushed this narrative and it never made sense to me. When oden first saw roger and whitebeard use advanved haki he was shocked, he couldnt use it himself and wondered why they didnt touch blades. Even though its confirmed he is stronger coming back to wano, its not confirmed he learned to do this. Truth is, kaido says to the scabbards themsleves RIGHT AFTER they attack him for the first time and i quote "how can they stab me? do they have odens ryuo too?". He says scared a bit and felt they were like oden for a moment, nothing of kings haki. If thats what it took all along, kaido would have just said so then and there like with luffy when luffy discovered advanved kings haki as from kaido himself, only the strongest being able to use it. Theres a flashback to when oden himself was teaching the scabbards ryuo, right before they attack kaido with paradise totsuka, odens old two sword style move, oden says "okay first of all heres the thing about ryuo, listen to me!". You must remember, this kaido is stronger than he was against oden, its going to take more to defeat him from back then, which makes sense this generation got the advanced applications of MORE haki types. Kaido also has advanced observation now, so he has all three advanced forms he never showed back then, and he still considers oden someone who could have beaten him BACK THEN, its clear hes stronger now and its clear it takes more to beat him why it seems like this generation needs kings haki to match oden from back then, they dont, they need advanced Kings and armament haki to match kaido blow for blow of RIGHT NOW including observation in its own way. That makes the most sense. Im going off direct quotes of the manga. But if you want to look at the narrative that way so be it. Even the wiki doesnt acknowledge oden as having advanved kings haki and they have a pretty solid group of fans who break down the japanese to interpret the manga themselves.
@@ZorOrdinary You can damage Kaido with only ryou. It's the attack of Luffy and the scabbard that were shallow not the haki himself.
I think sabo or Garp with their armement haki and probably ryou can massively damage Kaido
I do agree that Rayleigh touches yonko level but I don’t think he could beat Kaido or current Luffy since he doesn’t have many feats besides being stronger than Gabann who’s equal to Oden but Oden got a lot stronger later on during his journey as he stated himself and his fight with Gabann was early-ish during his journey so the question is if Gabann kept up and if Rayleigh did in fact stay stronger and even then Kaido is many times stronger than Oden currently

one thing i just realized is that Zoro didn't challenge him to a fight at sabaody.. i mean ok maybe he learned to sense who is stronger than him and what not, but i feel like they could at least have had a practice bout

@@Easson_ i meant like a friendly duel sorta deal. i just find it odd that as a swordsman trying to become the best, zoro rarely talks to swordsmen about the craft so to speak
Zoro wasn't in his best form, also Rayleigh is an old retired legend, Zoro has no reason to challenge him.
@@donrog5035 i meant in more of a curious way. I just wish Oda focused a bit more on that side of Zoro's quest. finding strong swordsmen to surpass and all. And yeah rayleigh is old but he can still tango with an admiral just fine so i don't think Zoro would think him weak or anything.

Prime Rayleigh is probably Ben Beckman level who is yonko level (he's shown and stated as relative to shanks) so he's also stronger than kaido and gear 5 Luffy but weaker than shanks, mihawk, old Garp, dragon, and blackbeard.

bounty seems a bit high for rayleigh even tho he was the pirate kings right hand man, i don't think his bounty would be more then 2.5 billion, if kaido's and big moms first commanders are around 1 Billon and 1.3 Billion. Just don't think it would be that high

Tbh Kizaru made him sweat in a couple minutes, him vs Prime Rayleigh is still a very good fight. Also when he blocked Kizaru from attacking Zoro I wouldn't say it's as impressive as it would be if he wasn't off guard

@@nathanwelling8948 Base Luffy can high diff Zoro, Base Luffy was putting up a solid fight against Kaido for quite a bit. Zoro had that one clash where he was able to reopen his scar which was impressive but also, Kaido did have to worry able multiple people. I don't think Luffy would be able to take that same attack that reopened Kaido's scar as well as he did. G4 Luffy mid diffs, and G5 low diffs.
