Amanda has always been inspired by her parents who came to Canada under difficult circumstances, yet found a way to take what little they had, and create a life for their family. With that philosophy in mind, while on a trip, Amanda realized that not having access to proper equipment made playing volleyball pretty difficult.
So instead, Amanda and her friends invented a game that didn’t require a net, beach, or expensive indoor court. That ended up being the foundation of Boardball. Now Amanda is on a mission to make a truly accessible sport that you can play anytime, anywhere.
