Got my self a set from my girlfriend to my b day, an I love the way you turned this building into something more ikonic 50s style / art decot than it was before. Great Greeting from Leipzig, eastern Germany. Kepping up the good work!
Thanks I have been building a long time. I look at the first stuff I built in it really was not that good. But I have gotten better over time If I do say so myself.
Excellent idea! You really followed the style of the modular diner well while crafting your own record store to complement it. Nice to meet you as well!
I like it! I want the diner, but since it's discontinued, I have to build it MOC-style. My new side will be TV station KIRB (brick backwards) though. Good inspiration from your design.
Very cool model dude! Love the attention to detail is great and the choice of building a record shop is excellent. Very reminiscent of the ‘50s. You seem like an awesome guy by the way :D Keep it up!
I was soooo excited to see you had a new video, your builds are my favorite. Love the stuffed animal shop, and the Coca-Cola sign. I understand about the arches , Lego has made so many new parts lately. I am building the ninjago city set and I'm amazed at the amount of new parts I've seen. The building looks great :)
It has been a slow spell in posting, I need to do better. Thank you so much for your kind words. I am thinking about getting the Ninjago city set but I don't know.
Super sweet amendment to the set. As I've said before, you should be a set designer for Lego, seriously. I didn't know Frank Rock from the Monster Fighters was a DJ in his free time ☺️
Yes, not many of those these days. I remember when I got some of my old records out and my daughter said "Cd, Big Cd!!" now Cd's are becoming rare. I see you are on a bike. I am a big fan of riding.
Great build! Sounds like you too have a very understanding wife! And that's great! Makes life much easier as a AFOL. =) Please check out my small Lego City.
Lovely building, really like the way you made something different on the other building, but still in the same style as the original diner. And a recording studio, a radio station and a record store goes really good togheter. Then you hav the stuffed animal factory as something we never could have expected. Thanks for sharing with us.
Wow. You integrated that really nicely. It really looks as if it is one actual set, not an add-on. Now you can stage a scene in the diner of the DJ meeting a record producer for some payola.
Mark Cotter.. Yes, I had quite a few myself, although the writers messed around with the character too much over the years, I would love to see a film that brings him in to the marvel universe.
I NOTICED ON BACK OF BUILDING- GRAY PANELS LOOKS LIKE A CLOSED DRIVE- THROUGH WINDOW (REAL DRIVE THROUGH AT BACK WOULD BE IMPROVEMENT TO SET, ALSO FIGHTER SHOULD BE LADY OR HAVE 1 OF EACH M/F, I ORDERED THE FEMALE KICK- BOXER MINI TO GO WITH MY COPY.) NEW FISHING STORE (IDEAS- 2017) IS AWESOME SET, NOT MODULAR BUT SAME LARGE- SIZE SET. I READ THIS BUILDING WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED TO BE 'AUTO DEALER/ SHOWROOM', LATER MODIFIED TO BE RESTAURANT, WHICH EXPLAINS ALL LARGE CLEAR GLASS STYLE SO ITEMS OR AUTOS INSIDE CAN BE SEEN MORE EASILY- I THINK THEY SHOULD MAKE THAT BUILDING FOR NEXT YEAR'S MODULAR OR MODULAR PARKING GARAGE (METRO PARK STYLE).
I did not buy a 2nd set. I did not buy any parts just for this MOC I used elements in my collection. I have only bought one of any of the modular sets. I would love to have more than one copy.

Very nice addition! I love the stuffed animal store and the radio station. I wish I had your skills. :)
Thanks I have been building a long time. I look at the first stuff I built in it really was not that good. But I have gotten better over time If I do say so myself.
I loled at the record store owner, great choice, he really looks like someone who would own a record store, this day and age.
Spot on! Even the interior is well thought out. Impressed, well done mate.
Dude, it looks fantastic, you should be proud.
Excellent idea! You really followed the style of the modular diner well while crafting your own record store to complement it. Nice to meet you as well!
Thank you some times it is very hard to come up with an idea, but this just seem to call out for a record store.
I love how it looks! You really caught the style of Downtown Diner with that Records Store.
Thanks, Ozgur Firat.
Mark Cotter Thanks for dropping a heart! :D
really really good! great work! Congrats!
Me and my brother got this set for chrsitmas and are currently building the second floor of it. Excited to see the full set finished!
I like it! I want the diner, but since it's discontinued, I have to build it MOC-style. My new side will be TV station KIRB (brick backwards) though. Good inspiration from your design.
I like that choices with the record store. Looks good next to the diner
I thought a record store would fit in with the time period. Thanks. Do you ever send a comment to your other channels?
Very cool model dude! Love the attention to detail is great and the choice of building a record shop is excellent. Very reminiscent of the ‘50s. You seem like an awesome guy by the way :D
Keep it up!
That looks awesome Mark, looking forward to getting a couple myself to modify. Great way to get extra value out of a set, build it twice :)
That is a really cool build and fits the look perfectly. It looks fantastic, the addition of the radio station is a great idea. Really well done.
Thanks. It is hard to come up with ideas to fill buildings. The radio station seemed to fit.
INTERESTING, not too sure of the stuffed animals section, love the radio station!!!!!
Thanks and thanks for the comment.

Awesome video! You also inspired me a while back to make my own LEGO city:)
Hope your city is coming along
Mark Cotter thanks! It is
THIS IS COMPLETELY AMAZING
Thanks, like your Profile photo.
I love the addition of the record store. It fits really well with the diner.
Thank you very much
Super sweet amendment to the set. As I've said before, you should be a set designer for Lego, seriously. I didn't know Frank Rock from the Monster Fighters was a DJ in his free time ☺️
Yes he loves to spin those discs
Great expansion! I wonder how many kids nowadays will have to ask... "what's a record store?"
Yes, not many of those these days. I remember when I got some of my old records out and my daughter said "Cd, Big Cd!!" now Cd's are becoming rare. I see you are on a bike. I am a big fan of riding.
I just saw this video in my recommended and I subscribed.
Thanks, I hope that you will enjoy future videos. You might like some of my older MOCs.
Wow you made the record store yourself? That's really amazing
Yes, I made it. I still have a lot of records, have not listened to them in many years.

I think you should change some stuff on the records side
And I thought the normal one was good. If only they could make this the real one.
That would be nice. I wonder how much Lego would ask for this set.
Great build! Sounds like you too have a very understanding wife! And that's great! Makes life much easier as a AFOL. =) Please check out my small Lego City.
My wife is GREAT
Oh please make instructions and share!
Or make it in lego digital designer?
Own diner
I like the original better....
Thanks for watching and for your comment.

Thanks it is fun to share and find out what other people think. Thanks for sharing your opinion.
love that record store! what a great add on
Wow. You integrated that really nicely. It really looks as if it is one actual set, not an add-on.
Now you can stage a scene in the diner of the DJ meeting a record producer for some payola.
Yes I can. Mocs are better if they have a story behind them.
What a great job you done there really complimented with the diner.
Thanks
Looks awesome mate, great build !!
Hay Tan Bricks Thank you , Thank you very much.

I really like the addition you made. The toy conveyor belt is awesome.
Thank you, I like the conveyor belt as well.
Nice build. The stuffed animal conveyor belt is cool.😀👍
Thanks, I got the idea for the conveyor belt from the wheels of Ninjago polybag set.
Not one hand but two hands . He he he !! ; ). Cheers

Mark Cotter.. Yes, I had quite a few myself, although the writers messed around with the character too much over the years, I would love to see a film that brings him in to the marvel universe.

Just a note, the “d” is lower case in records when everything else is upper case, I recommend making it upper case to match the rest.
I like the D as it is. It adds to the symmetry of the letters. But thanks for the info. thanks for the comment. and thanks for watching.
Ok cool and yes
cool
Thanks for taking the time to comment.
lol 2 of the 3 added figs are in our diner too the cop and the second boxer
Awesome work!! Did you buy a second Diner to get the parts or buy them individually?
I did not buy a 2nd set. I did not buy any parts just for this MOC I used elements in my collection. I have only bought one of any of the modular sets. I would love to have more than one copy.
Hay did you make the records store or is it a real set ?
I made it. You should look at some of my other buildings that are not real sets. However they are real to me.
