Thanks again chimes for doing a video on this strat! Couple things, I want to point out: try to aim for boots rush and two rubies/combinations of that. So if you have 1100 get 2 rubies boots or if like 450 get boots refil. Sustain and hp are really important early (gives you bigger qs and secondwind/doran last longer). Also recommend banning zeri, champ is very thanos right now. Lastly, the strat is good cause of poor decision making from opponents and having reliable teammates. I play this strategy because playing toplane and seeing my botlane 2/12 at 10 minutes is too exhausting. It allows for the other roles to shine without them having to worry about their botlane exploding before 1 item. Fyi: People will flame you for picking it, but hope you guys enjoy it, nevertheless. Thanks again!
Non-ADCs in bot have always been very effective early on, with the downside being that your team won't have the scaling of an ADC. That should make it more effective in high ranks since games are shorter and teams are better at turning early leads into wins, but worse in low ranks where games often drag out.
Yes, but adc's scale with gold, not with time (like veigar and asol) and low elo players are also bad at farming so I would say that evens it out a bit. Plus if you stomp them early game they probably won't just farm back up for late game, and rather desperately try to coinflip getting money from teamfights.
On the other hand though, high elo bot lane players SHOULD be able to deal with a Darius adc. There’s always the element of surprise and not being used to going up against it but I feel like high elo SHOULD be able to use the range advantage to win, and if Darius adc falls behind it’s over because he ends up not being able to farm and is already down xp since he has to share a lane, so he’ll be underlevelled and underfarmed against opponent(s) who outrange him while he doesn’t have a solid gap closer to really deal with it. And even if he just goes even in lane and can keep up in farm despite being melee and more susceptible to harass, then you deal with him not scaling as well as a true adc. I like off meta stuff and am not saying it can’t work, clearly it does, just saying I’d assume high elo have the skill level to deal with it and not get rolled early. But then again I play support Evelynn and regularly roll enemies throughout the game, but haven’t hit masters with it yet. Lots of off meta characters can work bot lane tbh if you know what you’re doing

I'm starting to think the off meta has little if anything at all with them being challenger. This man hit 1500LP with Garen, I'm sure they could be playing Yuumi Jg and still do great.
According to him it was not easy, and required the lvl 1 strats + new build and runes etc. Luckily he is smart and has good decision making, but you can't just lock anything in and immediately it works, you have to have a theory and then develop and prove it+ adapt any time you lose. That is a whole new set of skills compared to picking a meta laner and hitting challenger. Im sure his garen experience helped a lot as that too is quite an unpopular champ in high elo

I often play Support Tank Darius on norms (never on ranked) and it's actually quite fun to play, somewhat similar to what was shown here. I don't play well enough to dare try this in ranked. Though I do often play Support Mordekaiser versus Yuumi and it pretty much always works.

Found a dude in NA Challenger who plays Nilah as an ADC, pretty normal, but he goes FULL PEN. with Eclipse vs multiple meelees or Prowler's vs ranged, into zeal (just a zeal), then collector, lord dom, whatever the game calls for last item (maw, DD, Navori, BT), completing zeal into a PD and then sell boots for 6th item. I thought it was kinda odd at the start but after looking at the interaction of Nilah with crit and pen,.... its just ridiculous. Dude be oneshoting tanks and carries with ulti, is actually insane.
So, you posted this vid like a week ago, today I found mi first enemy darius adc, as pyke lvl 1 I ended up whit 2 kills trading mi adc for theyr sup and adc (darius). Today I realised, Hail of Blades must be one of the most busted Runes on early game ngl.
Also and cause of the waifu meta toplane, (irelia camille fiora riven), you have high base armor hp and health regen. Which literally forces an adc to hit twice the amount to kill the Darius botlane on the first 4 waves. You can hear Druttut screaming his hatred of Darius right now somewhere in Poland ^^.
I love full tank Darius, but I didn't know about this. It looks like it will be a joy to lane alongside (unless they're like the 2 enemy Panth ADCs I saw because neither of them actually watched the full vid XD).
I had a Darius adc once... It actually went pretty well. I went Senna support and my Darius played safe enough (surprising, right??) that we just kind of face rolled the enemies after a while. It was normal ad conqueror Darius tho.

myself personally i would just buy a cull and not fight first 10 minutes as the ranged adc vs darius. Bc the thing is darius is still going to be weaker then your solo laners due to exp and thats where your range and the safety it gives starts to win out. Not to mention in the later stages of the game you will just start to outscale once you get your third item

I have been wanting to do this with Yorick but haven't dared. I ran Yorick (filled) support after before and after level 6 it actually works. Until 6 your bot hates you though
being a darius player who played him in every role with every build i would say for adc the build is good but lethal tempo might actually serve him better. again the guy is challanger and im in masters so what do i know. edit: for the build there is a current new build that is becoming more popular on darius which is black cleaver into full tank with jak sho as your mythic, its the perfect build for that setup

Any champ can work anywhere if your team knows how to compensate imo
