We lived in Oz for a number of years, returning to NZ to care for elderly parents. I so miss all the flora and fauna of australia . Just magic. Thx for sharing

Nice video, it's a great spot. I have stayed at the nearby Kurringai cottage and visited the Wetlands a few times where were lucky enough to meet Duade actually making a video at the wetlands. He is such a nice bloke and we chatted for a good 20 minutes or so. His Bird book is worth getting.

haha! that was the day we saw him at the petrol station so ..... who knows?! he may have been there crawling in the mud at the same time we were there! 😅
Hi Guys, Great vid as usual, did you see any Antechinus at Green Hills? its the place to find them. I'm usually out there 2 to 3 times a week, the water level has gone done quite a bit since all the hot weather, hopefully we will get some good rain this year to top it up again, look forward to your next trip Cheers 😎
We didn't see any Antechinus but I can imagine how much they would love living there with all those trees 😀 It must be lovely in Spring so I'd like to go back later in the year when it's cooler.... and more water!

winton wetlands is one of my favourite places!!!!

The only thing missing was Duade crawling in the mud...
