Theyll stick moore on warren and maybe leak watts to that side for help, but otherwise theyre gokng to stop the run first and make allar pass against the best secondary in the country to beat them. Penn State faced Altmeyer who is very mobile (and Illinois is legit after beating SC). Also faced Jennings, Howard, Gabriel and Madsen now who proved he had mobility. It was mind blowing Georgia FAILED to spy Leonard at all. I feel ND fans even admit that, Leonard’s legs for 6-7 yards a pop was their only consistent offense in the game. ND scored 9 offensive points on drives where they actually had to drive the ball from their own territory. They capitalized on the strip sack, and got the KR td. If Penn state avoids turnovers, actually spies Leonard and plays just competent special teams, ND is going to have to find offense from their skill players, not sure if that will be enough to score more than 13-17 points (on offense). Will be a low scoring game.

What makes it different is ND offensive line and running backs combined with Riley Leonard are just hard to stop. Trust me, as an ND fan, I've felt we were going to lose so many games, and every time the game is over by the 3rd quarter. I think PSU needs to go up-tempo and get a lead and make ND uncomfortable. The most likely way the game plays out, ND wins. But I can see 7 or 8 scenarios, where PSU can win. That's the beauty of these 2 teams. They are similar yet different. ND is laser-focused, while PSU has game wreckers that can put the game away. If I was betting on this game, I would take the team who scores more points lol
I don’t think Notre Dame has the offense to win this game. Their passing game is ranked 108th; to put that into perspective, Boise State’s passing attack was ranked 70th. The Irish actually have a more one-dimensional offense than the Jeanty Show. And PSU answered the bell and forced key turnovers. Penn State will be the best offense and the best defense that Notre Dame has faced all year, and it’ll show.
Notre Dame has a QB that can kill with his legs and another RB that can run as well, so that is more versatile than just one great running back. This will be a fun game to watch.
