Ladakhis and Tibetans call it by sanskrit name "Gosthana" (= place of cows)

Ladakh is future saudi Arab( if water is going to be scarce)largest reserve of fresh water. Some say “ not even grass grows there” but if Tibet and Ladakh is not there, grass perhaps will not grow in most of Asia.

By now we won't have to answer following questions.
Where is Ladakh ?
Is it in India? Nd lot more.
The Indian masses have little to no knowledge about both the UTs of Ladakh and J&k.
For example people think it snows heavily in the Jammu region.
And no, people are not to be blamed for that because prior to abrogation of 370 and 35(A), what news gets out of J&K was heavily monitered, often rendering it flat out false or facts were omitted.
And people never visit J&K because of terrorism. So there you have it.
Also, there is always an underlying theme of rascism amongst most people when it comes to NE and Ladakh. Hence the biased behaviour about gaining info about these regions. Nothing can be done about that aspect though.

This is very unfortunate that there is no single history of North East and these region in our NCERT books govt should consider this if govt thinks that North East and ladakh is a intergal part of india...
