Sanjis exoskeliton is connected to his feelings and by extension his haki. His body can feel pain and it automatically regenerates but his brothers don't have emotions or feelings so their bodies are unaware of damage, and they have to be repaired.
Sanji getting a devil fruit power without all the drawbacks is insane when you think about it. Not to mention he can basically regen now and I'm assuming his overall durability has gotten better. Oda did good hinting about this stuff for a while now so it doesn't feel like an asspull at all either.

A few weeks ago, based on one of your reviews (the one you were talking about the lineage factor, it was chapter 1023 I think), I was thinking.... maybe Sanji’s Diable Jambe comes from the Mera Mera no Mi. Like how Vegapunk extracted the lineage factor from Kaido to create the devil fruit Momonosuke ate. Since Judge used to work with Vegapunk... instead of using the lineage factor to create an artificial devil fruit, Judge just experimented on his kids. And each of the kids has a power from a different devil fruit. Also, the curly eyebrows are a reference to the devil fruits. (I have absolutely no idea if this makes sense or if I'm tripping)
I think it’s been mentioned before by somebody on TH-cam or Oda in an interview and those flames aren’t seen by most people, like it’s a manifestation of his haki? Kinda like the soul of his attack. But Sanji’s is different because his can be seen by queen…. But what do I know 🤷🏻♂️
No one can truly prove how dinosaurs work because they've never existed during our time, even the most widely accepted and full proof seeming theories are just that, theories, that's the point of these gags, Oda's saying that if dinosaurs actually re-appeared in the world they COULD have surprises like this, you can't prove him wrong 😂

Here are my thoughts: Something regarding Robin happened at Reverie. Considering the order to capture Robin came from "above" and only after Reverie (CP0 didn't go after Robin in Dressrosa) and they want Robin and not Luffy or a Yonko, there a 3 options: - The light that needs to be extinguished is the "Light of the Revolution" Nico Robin - The pirate Shanks wanted to talk about was Robin - During the convo with the Gorosei, Cobra leaked that Robin knows the location of Pluton
Nothing needs to happen regarding Robin at Reverie in order for an order for the WG to want to capture her, It's been made perfectly clear that as the sole individual alive who can read the Ponyglyphs she the most valuable person in the world. The light to be extinguished is most likely Vivi, since Imu had her picture with him
@@mohamedab9033 That's what I thought too but it's obvious that the order to capture Robin came in after Reverie. Why only after Reverie? Why didn't they try to get Robin during Dressrosa? They were right there, CP0 and the marines. Robin should have been the priority, the same way she is now and yet nothing happened. It doesn't add up. That's why I think something at Reverie must have happened to reminded them that they need to get their hands on her.
Eh, seems odd to me that they're just now going hard on getting Robin. She has always been valuable. I think its more about Luffy. Robin may have the knowledge but she wont do anything with that. Its Luffy that they are worried about. This is their way of handicapping him on his way to becoming the Pirate King.

Judge was wrong in trying to remove the emotions from the siblings. He got the quick results but I believe stunted their potential. Sanji will have a much higher ceiling with his powers because his emotions are intact

I'm so glad you said that Wano was missing something. I totally agree. This chapter gave it what it needed. The stakes needed to be elevated. I think we will either see Shanks, Blackbeard, the Revolutionary army or the Straw hat grand fleet soon.
I can picture BB showing up to nab luffys fruit asumming luffy is gonna lose to kaido but will get kaidos instead,shanks will pull up to try and stop the yonkou alliance, greenbull and kizaru might arrive too
I don’t see Robin getting captured again, especially after her recent big win and further development. That would be redundant and make her look extremely weak. Been there, done that. I also don’t see them splitting up again, at least right after Wani because Jimbei and Yamato, if she joins, needs adequate time with the crew and time to be at least somewhat fleshed out as full members. I can see the Grand Fleet showing up (though I don’t how they would reach Wano that quickly and easily unless they were already close and basically right behind the marines). I also don’t see the Strawhats, Yamato and Marco just leaving Wano to fend for themselves after against the marines after Kaidou’s defeat. Something is going to happen to make the government leave Wano alone.
Exactly, on your comment on the world government leaving them won’t be exact but someone will be captured it could be anyone literally except the straw hat crew . They will cut it close as always and still show their power in the end , the WG will see that and officially announce Luffy as a yonko and should be taken down. Bounties will go up and like how you said , it’s already been hinted that Yamato might join and jimbei needs time to develop as a true straw hat character otherwise it will be half a***ed and no one will like it and forsure oda wouldn’t do that to any of us especially since wano is the climax of one piece . I hope to see the elbaf and laugh tale arcs , I still see one piece 2-3 years in the making atleast
Sanji used to spin in a circle to use his power before the time skip. Reminds me of when he was underwater fighting the kraken and how flames just swirled around his leg without him moving.
This arc is FINALLY feeling like MARINEFORD now, the fact that there are WG ships waiting outside gave me chills. Really hoping there's an admiral in one of them. Definitely one of my favorite chapters of this arc!

Your reviews are always on point! regarding Sanji- I think Oda was hinting at sanji drawing energy from the sun? Maybe the sun is what hedraws his flames/abilities from, hence the Lunarian comparison. Plus Sanji's theme colour being yellow. Just a thought..

Now that Sanji has awakened these abilities I can’t wait for Oda to bring back the Duvall gag again for Sanji. Sawyer, your theory on the source of Sanji's powers put me at ease! I was worried he'd start to lose his personality, which was depressing to me. On top of that, your points actually made sense and I had my fingers and toes crossed that Sanji's got Lunar juice in his veins! After their individual luffy and zorro are half dead but SANJI is not... He can still fight because regenerate fast... And from my point of view now SANJI is more useful than zorro....
Funnily enough I think people are actually down playing what this means for sanji by just saying he unlocked the German exoskeleton. If you guys remember when sanji caved yonjis face in he had to manually get a doctor to press it back into its original position, similarly after sanji dislocated nijis jaw niji manually snapped it back into place.... not only did both of these things happen this chapter but they also happened automatically

the swirls are a common background effect for menacing moments, it's just an additional effect to Queen being shaded out, I doubt Oda's gonna make lore out of a drawing technique he just copied from Toriyama lol.
I think the raid suit enhances your latent powers and that's why Sanji's augmentations are active now. The medicine Sora took just suppressed his abilities and also preserved his humanity. He has powers like his brothers, but he also has the kindness and compassion of his mother. Maybe the raid suit will power up his flaming attacks to the point where they will burn through queen's skin.
I doubt there are any Admirals coming to Wano. It should be mostly CP agents and marines like in Enies lobby. Also the Big Mom crew should be out there too, they could clash
@@lxfj2128 The revolutionary commanders fought Fujitora and Ryokugyuu on the 4th day of the Reverie and the Reverie is a 7 day event. Since the Wano arc and the Reverie have been happening concurrently and 2 weeks have passed then that means it's been a week since the Reverie ended.

Yanji is part Cyborg. He is the only sibling that has cyborg enhancements that we know of, that would explain him needing his face hammered on to fix it.
I can see Sanji at the end of the series to have taken over Germa 66 and now uses the clones to be chefs all across the All Blue on a thousand Bariatie Restaraunts

Sawyer contradicted himself with the Sanji thing. First he's saying this is not the exoskeleton (literally the only TH-camr & person that I hear saying this) and that if it was he wouldn't be able to go back to getting his bones normal on his own. Then he is saying his brothers are emotionless and if it was the same power as his brothers, he wouldn't have yelled out ouch. Man that is exactly WHY he said ouch. He has emotions. Sanji will always be Sanji and him unlocking this power does not go against his mom's sacrifice. It was never a physical reason why his mother made the sacrifice, it was always about mentality and emotions. Had she not do what she did then he wouldn't have been as caring as he turned out to be. I do enjoy your content but I'm sensing the Zoro bias on that segment of the video. Its like you don't want him to have this power because he might have an edge or be on an equal footing with Zoro. Just call it what it is. We've been following this series long enough to know how Oda does things. The fact that Sanji has the flashback and states that he is becoming like his brothers (powerwise) then that obviously means that is how it is.
I don't think its Zoro agenda. Because Sanjis only feat post time skip is getting cracked by Queen and getting a skeleton. How does that put him on equal footing with Zoro. If i remember correctly, Zoro was in the roof with Luffy against the yonko. He wasnt against King this whole time.
Yamato specifically wants to go on an adventure and it would take a lot to convince her others. She may still defend Wano yes, but she will still attempt to leave Wano.
There's just so much going on towards the ending of this arc. There's so many possibilities that I just bet Oda is gonna surprise us with how things will come together.
You have ceaser who can only make sniles 10% success rate still cant swim and just get turned into a weird chimera. Then you have judge who managed to use the lineage factor using minks and lunarians etc to artificially give his children devil fruit like abilities which swirls their eyebrows and lets them keep the ability to swim. Finally you have vegapunk who made a "failure" devil fruit that is basically an exact duplicate of kaidous fruit. Also Queen is doing some crazy shit with his devil fruit which is basically magic
You are absolutely right when you said "Post Wano its going to be insane" 💯. Post Wano we are in the end game. Its crazy so many things are happening in One Piece right now. Usually, in other mangas near the end game the story is almost always linear. But in One piece its crazy. Sabo, Elbaf, Laughtale, Shanks, Blackbeard, Vegapunk, Im and a few more major storyline that Oda needs to cover. Its insane. And it only makes sense that Oda decides to approach it parallely by splitting the crew.
wow. we have the same prediction post-Wano. i also think the crew is gonna split up in 2 or 3 groups if Robin gets captured. 99% sure Oda is not skipping elbaf so if Wano is basically the trigger to the final arc of the story and Oda wants to commit to his timeframe then he'll have the SHs in different places at once, doing different things. Post-Wano is going to be the preparation for the final war. 1st group may head to mariejois first, most likely team up with the revolutionary army. 2nd group will head to elbaf, meet with the Red Hair pirates and/or the Grand Fleet to train & prepare for the war. after Wano, Oda's gonna show us what happened in the reverie, where sabo is now and who among the warlords were captured and who escaped. when Kaido & Big Mom are defeated, the balance of power will collapse, all of the pirates will run amock and the WG will begin cleansing. i can see the supernovas leading this time, some pirate crews will surrender to them & they will claim their territories. it’s possible some supernova and warlord will ally with the SHs for protection or common goal.
Well I’d say that even though I dnt think that Sanji will turn into a “monster”, I do believe that Sanji did actually create his “exoskeleton”. I think Sanji saying “Oww” was similar to Sabo saying “Ouch” when he used the fire the first time. It was more of a mental thing than anything.
Remember bro, Marco is fresh as hell, they need 2/3 of admiral to be there, green Bull is in Marejoi or go after Weewivl or Mihwak, and Fujitora is in AmazonLily, and Kizaru alone is barely enough
Hey sawyer¡ love your reviews and analysis man. just one thing that i dont see happening, is the mugiwaras splitting in groups, one to rescue sabo + robin and the other to find the last poneglyph for one reason. if robin is kidnapped, and even more so if sabo is in danger, there is no way that luffy puts that on the same level of priority as getting the last poneglyph. as soon as robin gets kidnapped, the mugiwaras are on full rescue mode, all of them. if the robin kidnap thing were to happen, i do see luffy calling the grand fleet asap and going full marineford 2.0 though, but this time to succeed
Thanks a lot of this Sawyer, I do think that Wano has been lacking tension, but it seems that something big is coming. It reminds me a bit of Thriller Bark, the tension just shot up when Kuma arrived.
Theory: Luffy = sun, zoro = moon, sanji = earth. There have been numerous hints to that and Oda's reference after chapter 7 that Sawyer reads here literally tells us that he is the earth.
Oh man. Not to get too depressing on main but I started watching one piece at age 11 and I never thought I'd live to see the end of it because I had many close calls over the years. It's surreal how it's reaching said end and I'm here to witness it.
Aside from sanji power up, what happened to ussop observation haki? He didn’t use it after dressrossa I think it will come in handy at the end of wano where cp-0 or governor officials will come and try to capture robin or maybe even luffy

Hawkiin still has his OP ass card. I believe all the Supernovas will team up to fight the Government/Marines just like how Law, Kid, and Luffy did. Hawkin still has his buff card so that will most likely be used vs the Marines.
You cant say for certain, that the pain wont disappear. you can not be sure the process has ended yet. The sacrifice of Sanjis mother was for the conservation of his emotions. He wont unlearn, or delete his emotions because of his upgrade, so I think it will be consistently
My hope is after Oda finishes the main story instead of a new series like Boruto he just releases one shots of past and future fights/encounters. Prime Roger/Garp/Whiteboard, future full power Coby etc.

Here are my thoughts: Something regarding Robin happened at Reverie. Considering the order to capture Robin came from "above" and only after Reverie (CP0 didn't go after Robin in Dressrosa) and they want Robin and not Luffy or a Yonko, there a 3 options:
- The light that needs to be extinguished is the "Light of the Revolution" Nico Robin
- The pirate Shanks wanted to talk about was Robin
- During the convo with the Gorosei, Cobra leaked that Robin knows the location of Pluton
Nothing needs to happen regarding Robin at Reverie in order for an order for the WG to want to capture her, It's been made perfectly clear that as the sole individual alive who can read the Ponyglyphs she the most valuable person in the world.

They were right there, CP0 and the marines. Robin should have been the priority, the same way she is now and yet nothing happened. It doesn't add up. That's why I think something at Reverie must have happened to reminded them that they need to get their hands on her.

Judge was wrong in trying to remove the emotions from the siblings. He got the quick results but I believe stunted their potential. Sanji will have a much higher ceiling with his powers because his emotions are intact

I don’t see Robin getting captured again, especially after her recent big win and further development. That would be redundant and make her look extremely weak. Been there, done that. I also don’t see them splitting up again, at least right after Wani because Jimbei and Yamato, if she joins, needs adequate time with the crew and time to be at least somewhat fleshed out as full members. I can see the Grand Fleet showing up (though I don’t how they would reach Wano that quickly and easily unless they were already close and basically right behind the marines). I also don’t see the Strawhats, Yamato and Marco just leaving Wano to fend for themselves after against the marines after Kaidou’s defeat. Something is going to happen to make the government leave Wano alone.
Exactly, on your comment on the world government leaving them won’t be exact but someone will be captured it could be anyone literally except the straw hat crew . They will cut it close as always and still show their power in the end , the WG will see that and officially announce Luffy as a yonko and should be taken down. Bounties will go up and like how you said , it’s already been hinted that Yamato might join and jimbei needs time to develop as a true straw hat character otherwise it will be half a***ed and no one will like it and forsure oda wouldn’t do that to any of us especially since wano is the climax of one piece . Sanji used to spin in a circle to use his power before the time skip. Reminds me of when he was underwater fighting the kraken and how flames just swirled around his leg without him moving.

regarding Sanji- I think Oda was hinting at sanji drawing energy from the sun? Maybe the sun is what hedraws his flames/abilities from, hence the Lunarian comparison. Plus Sanji's theme colour being yellow. Just a thought..

Funnily enough I think people are actually down playing what this means for sanji by just saying he unlocked the German exoskeleton. If you guys remember when sanji caved yonjis face in he had to manually get a doctor to press it back into its original position, similarly after sanji dislocated nijis jaw niji manually snapped it back into place.... not only did both of these things happen this chapter but they also happened automatically

First he's saying this is not the exoskeleton (literally the only TH-camr & person that I hear saying this) and that if it was he wouldn't be able to go back to getting his bones normal on his own. Then he is saying his brothers are emotionless and if it was the same power as his brothers, he wouldn't have yelled out ouch. Man that is exactly WHY he said ouch. He has emotions. Sanji will always be Sanji and him unlocking this power does not go against his mom's sacrifice. It was never a physical reason why his mother made the sacrifice, it was always about mentality and emotions. Had she not do what she did then he wouldn't have been as caring as he turned out to be.
I do enjoy your content but I'm sensing the Zoro bias on that segment of the video. Its like you don't want him to have this power because he might have an edge or be on an equal footing with Zoro. Just call it what it is. We've been following this series long enough to know how Oda does things. The fact that Sanji has the flashback and states that he is becoming like his brothers (powerwise) then that obviously means that is how it is.
I don't think its Zoro agenda. Because Sanjis only feat post time skip is getting cracked by Queen and getting a skeleton. How does that put him on equal footing with Zoro. If i remember correctly, Zoro was in the roof with Luffy against the yonko. He wasnt against King this whole time.

This chapter confirms neither Yamato nor Momo will join crew since they will need to defend or rebuild Wano from WG invasion.
Yamato specifically wants to go on an adventure and it would take a lot to convince her others. She may still defend Wano yes, but she will still attempt to leave Wano.
There's just so much going on towards the ending of this arc. There's so many possibilities that I just bet Oda is gonna surprise us with how things will come together.

Then you have judge who managed to use the lineage factor using minks and lunarians etc to artificially give his children devil fruit like abilities which swirls their eyebrows and lets them keep the ability to swim. Finally you have vegapunk who made a "failure" devil fruit that is basically an exact duplicate of kaidous fruit. Also Queen is doing some crazy shit with his devil fruit which is basically magic
You are absolutely right when you said "Post Wano its going to be insane" 💯. Post Wano we are in the end game. Its crazy so many things are happening in One Piece right now. Usually, in other mangas near the end game the story is almost always linear. But in One piece its crazy. Sabo, Elbaf, Laughtale, Shanks, Blackbeard, Vegapunk, Im and a few more major storyline that Oda needs to cover. Its insane. And it only makes sense that Oda decides to approach it parallely by splitting the crew.

99% sure Oda is not skipping elbaf
so if Wano is basically the trigger to the final arc of the story and Oda wants to commit to his timeframe then he'll have the SHs in different places at once, doing different things. Post-Wano is going to be the preparation for the final war. 1st group may head to mariejois first, most likely team up with the revolutionary army. 2nd group will head to elbaf, meet with the Red Hair pirates and/or the Grand Fleet to train & prepare for the war.
after Wano, Oda's gonna show us what happened in the reverie, where sabo is now and who among the warlords were captured and who escaped. when Kaido & Big Mom are defeated, the balance of power will collapse, all of the pirates will run amock and the WG will begin cleansing. i can see the supernovas leading this time, some pirate crews will surrender to them & they will claim their territories. it’s possible some supernova and warlord will ally with the SHs for protection or common goal.

Well I’d say that even though I dnt think that Sanji will turn into a “monster”, I do believe that Sanji did actually create his “exoskeleton”. I think Sanji saying “Oww” was similar to Sabo saying “Ouch” when he used the fire the first time. It was more of a mental thing than anything.
Marco can stall an admiral for the Straw Hats to get away.
Remember bro, Marco is fresh as hell, they need 2/3 of admiral to be there, green Bull is in Marejoi or go after Weewivl or Mihwak, and Fujitora is in AmazonLily, and Kizaru alone is barely enough

Hey sawyer¡ love your reviews and analysis man. just one thing that i dont see happening, is the mugiwaras splitting in groups, one to rescue sabo + robin and the other to find the last poneglyph for one reason. if robin is kidnapped, and even more so if sabo is in danger, there is no way that luffy puts that on the same level of priority as getting the last poneglyph. as soon as robin gets kidnapped, the mugiwaras are on full rescue mode, all of them. if the robin kidnap thing were to happen, i do see luffy calling the grand fleet asap and going full marineford 2.0 though, but this time to succeed

Theory: Luffy = sun, zoro = moon, sanji = earth. There have been numerous hints to that and Oda's reference after chapter 7 that Sawyer reads here literally tells us that he is the earth.
Oh man. Not to get too depressing on main but I started watching one piece at age 11 and I never thought I'd live to see the end of it because I had many close calls over the years. It's surreal how it's reaching said end and I'm here to witness it.

You cant say for certain, that the pain wont disappear. you can not be sure the process has ended yet. The sacrifice of Sanjis mother was for the conservation of his emotions. He wont unlearn, or delete his emotions because of his upgrade, so I think it will be consistently
My hope is after Oda finishes the main story instead of a new series like Boruto he just releases one shots of past and future fights/encounters. Prime Roger/Garp/Whiteboard, future full power Coby etc.
