Thank you for this video! it's so delightful to see a right portrayal of us in memes where we are not just the soft pushovers with cookies. ISFJs are like a cube. Many different sides, all equal and true. Loyal and kind, but also dangerous to cross (if we have to defend, we go hardcore). We may forgive but never forget. We may act for the greater good but doesn't mean we can't think like a villain would or read people and know their weak spot right away. We just CHOOSE not to act on it and hurt anybody. So again, thank you, that was wholesome.
As an ISFJ, I completely agree with your comment! You precisely put into words the other dimensions of ISFJs that I definitely relate to, besides being a pushover (which I am sometimes). Like the unwavering defense of others, especially loved ones. Or the forgiveness but not forgetfulness aspect. Because if I’m crossed once by someone, I’ll be apprehensive towards them but I’ll still be nice and friendly. But if I’m crossed once more by that person you bet I’m gonna bring up what happened before and the wrath will be felt. Anyway, I just appreciate your other insights into ISFJs that I don’t normally see most of the time!

I believe ISFJs are quite underrated as type... so I tried to help people understanding us a little better sharing the conclusions I have came to analyzing my own self. About the pushover part, I am sorry that you feel that way...but let me question it by asking...what is a pushover in the end? Because there is a difference between being a pushover that is stoop on and be willingly trying for the greater good and deciding to sacrifice something of yourself in order to achieve this and help others. The difference is on if you have the power inside to put a limitation to it and stand for yourself if needed. If it's a choice and not weakness, you are not a pushover. We may show kindness to people that is often exploited. But we often also know that from the start. Personally I felt better when I started openly calling the person out if they tried to use me or exploited my kindness and willingness to help. Even with friends, I say it to their face they only remember me when they need something from me. And in the end of it, the answer is behind the reason to help. Is it because you don't have the power to say no? Because you genuinely desire to help? Or maybe even because in long terms you get some profit of it that is unknown to the others? This might sound shady but it's also natural. A harmless example. I have accepted to draw the costumes for a theatrical anthology and I did it without asking any money, even if I normally get paid for that as my current job is illustrator while my major is on theater. But when my old professor called me and asked me to do it, I accepted. Because I wanted to support the team, because I felt honoured that my university professor still relies on me, because I wanted to do something related to theater again and why not, making my portfolio richer and keep good relations to someone that might be handy in the future. There is a balance in equally strong reasons. So...you may ask yourself why do you take the label of a pushover and change it yourself. If also you are very young you can rest assured...we toughen up eventually. And if something harms us we cut it out little by little and we allow less and less. (Sorry for the long answer! Blame my strong Ti, but I thought maybe breaking apart the pushover label might help you somehow...I really hope so) Have a nice day
