Basically, the government gets to pretend like the gold was never stolen, and the crew gets their freedom

oslo and moscow were important but (i’m sorry to be the one who has to say it) nowhere near as significant as berlin, nairobi and tokyo those characters were very well written and touched the hearts of many, in comparison.
believe me in Spanish it hits much harder. ive seen the show both in Spanish and in English, and believe me in Spanish there are lots of expressions and sayings whose meaning gets lots during translation

I’m so glad I’d decided to finally finish this series. To think they were going to stop after season 1. This series is chef kiss…absolute perfection. RIP to those that didn’t make it to the end: Oslo, Moscow, Berlin, Nairobi, and Tokyo.

Perfect finale. And huge credit to the writers for the characterization of Tokyo & The Professor in Seasons 4/5. I never hated Tokyo like many but her character did a complete 180 shift and she was easily the character I missed the most from the show.
Throughout the last 5 episodes the most emotional scene was Professor explaining his last interaction with Father who he himself saw dying infront of Bank. It needs a courage while narrating that. That was most emotional scene in last 5 episodes!!1

**SPOILERS AHEAD** I really thought that the gang was done at this point when they were all captured. But the professors brilliant move had the government on its knees. This is the first time that I have seen dangerous criminals being handed fake passports by cops themselves and leave the country with all the gold. What a great way to end the show!!

So they knew that they were going to escape through that tunnel. Why didn't they started to dig from the Professor's side earlier? They started in the last 2 episodes of season 2 I remember or around that. Also why didn't the Professor had a helper out with him? Someone who will check on the computer when the Professor is "not home". Leaving Arturito with the others in both heists. I mean, they saw him trying to escape multiple times... tokyo operating on Nairobi successfully. And Professor not having a doctor in the team after what happened to Moscow.
If you notice professor looks out towards shining sun ,the warmth of it , gazed for a moment with a feeling of memories of the course of moments and with somewhat saddened f face . What a poetic end shot . What an imaginative the director' concept about its ending in this way . It lefts us more in sadness n an everlasting experience of a great story so far . People who value feelings , compassion , togetherness will surely love

Not sure if there will be another season, the ending part here already stated that nobody from the gang has to rob a bank ever again. But deep inside, I truly wish there will be a next season. This series is truly one of the best I’ve watch since long long time.
For such an ambitious story especially with how some of the show went I didn't think they'd be able to tie the end on it so well. But bravo! This is truly one of the greats to ever grace the TV screens. Stunning actors, such an intricate plot and to produce such a beautiful end is something not many shows can do. All time great
It's was just the perfect ending. It had everything. I really anticipated this series. And the scene where they were crying. I broke down. My girlfriend was at work. My daughter was in bed. Great writing. When the professor says we are not all here. That really got to me.

By the end of Season 5 Part I (after Tokyo's death), I really thought there would be more deaths. I didn't expect Helsinki to make it out alive. It seems like every injured member would eventually die... Moscow, Nairobi.. Tokyo... what a brilliant show.
I also started believing this is going to be a tragic end when professor surrendered, but as always he made his master move. We need a professor in real life who can challenge the hegemony of the privileged.

For such an ambitious story especially with how some of the show went I didn't think they'd be able to tie the end on it so well. But bravo! This is truly one of the greats to ever grace the TV screens. Stunning actors, such an intricate plot and to produce such a beautiful end is something not many shows can do. All time great

Just finished this, and this is the best show I've watched. I was crying because I was happy they made it out alive but I was sad that the show ended.
Never thought i would watch this. Thank god i did. Greatest cast ever and broke my heart so many times. Loved it.
It's was just the perfect ending. It had everything. I really anticipated this series. And the scene where they were crying. I broke down. My girlfriend was at work. My daughter was in bed. Great writing. When the professor says we are not all here. That really got to me.
I don't think i will watch any better series than this forever. Miss you professor 💪😭

By the end of Season 5 Part I (after Tokyo's death), I really thought there would be more deaths. I didn't expect Helsinki to make it out alive. It seems like every injured member would eventually die... Moscow, Nairobi.. Tokyo... what a brilliant show.
I also started believing this is going to be a tragic end when professor surrendered, but as always he made his master move. We need a professor in real life who can challenge the hegemony of the privileged.
