Ariana is slowly transforming from an idol to a legend and this performance prove it. I've only watched a few performances from Ariana but this one is the best yet, in my opinion. Having a live band allow her to focus on singing instead of dancing, making the singer and the instrument incorporate and become one.

In case anyone is confused, yes she is wearing the engagement ring, no she is still not engaged to Pete. This was recorded in September, in fact, it was recorded when Mac Miller died, Ariana wasn’t made aware of his death while she was there because they didn’t want her to leave before the performance and everything so she was made aware of Macs death HOURS after this. Makes this performance feel really weird now. She seems so blissful and mellow, like the calm before the storm.
