Hi Yannber. We like Stone Age a lot and it works well for 2 players too. It's a lot of fun, and the different cards and building tiles give it good replay value. I would definitely recommend it!
I think there were two small mistakes: - on 17:56 Pat paid one wood for a card that requires 2 resources; - at the end of the game, all leftover resources (not including food) increase the score of 1 point each.
Thomas J., thank you for your comment. I just looked over that and I believe that there were indeed 2 resources paid at 17:56. If you check just before that, I received 7 wood resources from my lumberjacks, and after paying, there are 5 left on my playing area. I think when I paid, on resource was placed on top of the other, so it is a bit hard to see. You are correct about the leftover resources being worth 1 point at the end. Well spotted there and sorry we missed that one! I hope you enjoyed the playthrough!
I've never played where you get to choose whether to use the tool after you roll. We always play that you must decide this before the roll. I've just re - read the rules and it seems you can decide afterwards. I wonder how this changes the tension of the rolls?
I have never played where you decide before the roll, but I am sure that that would make the rolls much more tense! I might try that out some time and see how it goes. Thank you for your comment Scott!
Tools are already the worst investment of a worker and you made them even worse. I wonder did anyone actually use tools in your games? Another problem with this games balance is that you are ment to starve your workers after you have more than 5 of them so right after you get your first extra worker. Each food is basicly worth 2 points and starving workers only costs 10 points so its very effective.
Nice one. The gameplay was pretty tense, but I think the winner should have been - your T-shirt! Made me giggle. Episode was well produced and edited as usual. Do you do it all yourself?
Thank you SIrbrastias. I'm delighted that you liked the game and the t-shirt! Haha Yes, I do all of the filming and editing myself. Thanks a lot for your positive comments. It is very encouraging and makes me want to keep going at it!
thanx a million. I wasn t sure about the playability for this game with two players only. It looks to be fluid and quick
