I think Erik is the best one out of all the replacements they’ve had since Sebastian. BUT, I’m still always a die hard Skid Row~Sebastian lover. Nothing tops them during that era!!

We get to have them and SB out there... same as we have something calling itself Queensryche and Geoff Tate out there. Erik is a great option regardless of whether SB is or isn't. I even liked them with ZP... but I would say there is no doubt, Erik is absolutely their best non-SB option by a long shot.

Erik is doing a great job, Skid Row is back. Well as back as they can be. Sorry but if you could go back to the original Skid Row in the 80s and 90s and saw Sebastian Bach, he made Skid Row. The crazy talent and the crazy unbelievable beauty and yes brains and attitude. He was a force seldom seen. That is gone now. That Bach still lives but no one can be in their 20s again. I totally get why they do not ever want to reunite with Bach but too bad they cannot give him the credit he deserves for their incredibly fast rise to fame. Yes great songs but if not delivered by a great frontman, the songs don't matter. Sebastian Bach for maybe only a few years was AMAZING !!!!!!!!! Yes he would be the first one to agree. 🙂

this guys is doing a solid job, may be their best replacement for the B leaguer that is Bach The skid Row breaking the band doc on REELZ tv was pretty good last night. It is clear Rachel and Dave simply do not like Bach, they were not happy he strongarmed them into a 25% split on the second album despite not writing the music or doing lyrics for the most part. And then also forcing them to go heavy. Bach got fired after leaving an expletive filled voice message for Snake while he was home hosting a Christmas party..
Bach did it 1000 times better, this kid has no passion and is cold and emotionless. Music is more than hitting the right tone, it must move your soul, and this guy can not do that

Sebastian didn’t die he just hasn’t been in the band for many many years. Erik is fantastic live, if you get a chance I highly recommend going to see Skid Row.

This guy is great but doesn't fit the aesthetic of the live band. If they can write some new hits on record it will be awesome and will sell, like 70's radio hits. Sebastian I believe is 30 years older than this guy and hasn't led the cleanest lifestyle so comparing him to this new kid is like comparing a new sports star to a retiring legend, it's unfair.
New name? They named the band when original singer Matt Fallon was in the band and he's been gone for 36 years, but he didn't get bent out of shape for them still calling the band Skid Row, since Snake and Rachel are the ones who named it that.

Not even close, makes me want to hear the original quickly. Nice kid, but wasn't even born jet, when this song came out. He can not feel it, maybe study it, learn how Bach did it, but not feel it..
Used to love Baz antics and bluntness but cant stand his political views. Vocally Erik is great in his own right. That said no one can express the emotion and power in Baz voice. He was the perfect fit for Skid Row talent and musical mastery and although still a fan the band doesnt sound as full without him. Im.sure even if he were in the band it probably would not sound as it did during their rise to the top. Also Scotti, Snake, and Rachel composed some of the greatest music and several masterpieces and we wil forver be grateful for!!!
