  • I recorded my version of the classic Van Halen Outta Love Again song from their Van Halen II album.
There are no guitars or vocals from the original recording in this mix.

    ℗ 1979 Warner Records Inc.
    My gear
    -----------------------------------------------
Guitar - EVH Wolfgang Special 2016
Pickups - Pariah Pasadena Series "White"
    Amp - Kemper Profiler
Something to note is that I use no delay on any of my guitar tracks when recording Van Halen. From what I have been able to figure out over the years is that reverb was used on most of the 1970s & 1980s records. I like this approach and sound so much that now I refuse to use delay on anything.
Thanks to Van Halen for writing this great song and thanks to Eddie for inspiring guitarists around the world.

Killer! Just killer playing, Bro. And I agree with you 100%. VH II was absolutely incredible. Still one of my fave VH albums. And I'd get slapped in the back of the head by most of my fellow hard core VH Fans for saying this. But I like VH II a good bit more than the first one. I mean... they're all incredible. Every single one of them. But there is just something about Van Halen II.

Thanks Jimmy! VH II is amazing. It has everything that VH I does with a better sound IMO.

I was watching another video, pizza review so I had it on 1.5 speed, then listened to you play and said, wow that's pretty nifty! 1.5 Speed, peace out!

Great video and tasty playing! Edward was so unique and Alex was incredible. He's obviously lost without his brother and that's a sad thing. Love your channel and thank you!!

Thanks! They spent their entire life together so it is understandable. Hope he comes out of it at some point. I would love to see hime drum again.

    Great stuff.
Yes, the hardest part of the song to learn, is the solo.
VHII really was amazing. Eddie was the master.
    You're interpretation is bang on.
    Well done !!

I own a PEAVEY WOLFGANG guitar , I dont know what year it is. Its kinda blue with a wood flame. Actually I only use it every once in a while. It has a D TUNA but the floyd rose bridge is not the original. The pick ups run pretty hot so I use less gain on my Metal Zone pedal. I was thinking of trading it in for an EVH but I'm not sure. I had it looked at at guitar center but they said it was worth less than 400 dollars. Anyway your guitar looks pretty cool and has a good tone .

Trading in is never a good idea. They always give you less than you could get say on Ebay or some other place where you sell it yourself.
