When I mentioned it to the vet while getting his shots, she said he has healthy lungs. I guess the only thing in our control is to keep our places clean and dust free.
Exactly. And you can find young ones as rescues, sometimes returned to breeders when people don’t have time for them or they had a medical situation because people didn’t care for them properly. Simply amazing to watch their personalities emerge after proper love and care. Very special. 💕🐈
I've had Persians for 30+ yrs, then my partner bought an an exotic short-hair, he is the best cat I've ever had he's everything,, he's the most loving gentle funny boy, he's stunning looking and oh he plays, he's leash trained and loves going on walks, my boy is also not small, he's biggest cat I've ever owned, does not need grooming like my Persians did, he's truly the best thing in my life, everyone should have an exotic in there life ❤
My Exotic is the best thing in my life. He’s not like normal cats. The way he looks and his temperament are superb. He’s never aloof and acts more like a little dog. Paddington is a ham!
This is an amazing breed, they are beautiful and behave more like a dog. We take ours outside and carry her around in our arms like a baby. She’s the sweetest! ❤
They are my "favorites "cats my first one lived 13 years (black with golden eyes) he passed away on Christmas day 2018 and my second is "blue point " color they are loyals companions . I can not imagine to live without him.I take care of him like a baby every day.😺❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I own a stunning exotic longhair which derives from a male Persian cream tabby and a black female exotic shorthair and it's awesome! She s super curious and makes lots of funny experiments with stuffs and she s not so passive, but she s really relaxed and never crazy like a bengala..it runs just once or twice a day playing whatever and then sleep or catch flyes or random things. Most time she follow us everywhere but she also sleep a lot in her perfect spots. She needs a daily care and clean for her eyes that tears a lot, but no daily grooming. Just one a week. She doesnt ruin furniture, and her limited atlethicism makes her no climb everywhere. We were looking for a classy, no crazy, confident, lovelable and tender cat and that s the perfect breed!!
I just adopted from a Rescue a British Shorthair and an exotic They came all the from Kuwait and I love Them Dearly as I always wanted a British Shorthair and these 2 are buddies male and female I had lost my boy I had for close to 17 years so I missed him alot My cats live long and I am happy I believe only in Adoption and Rescue!! ❤
My partners mum is from Kuwait they love exotic short-hair breed, so glad you resued your babies, my exotic was from Russia a caged stud, my partner resued him for me, it broke his heart to see him like that, he's now free and happy to do whatever he wants all day, hope your fur babies have a beautiful life with you free and carefree, your a lovely person for adopting

I love my ESH, and I find some of this not to be exactly accurate. 1. He's a big boy and dwarfs my other rescue kitties. 2. He is needy and loves attention and cuddles but enjoys his alone time as well. 3. Play time he is lazy but enjoys his play time. Although he is like a little doggie waits at the door when you get home and follows you everywhere. He still has his own personality and needs his space. He has been awesome with change and taken to the change best of all my babies. Amazing little creature

To every rule there is an exception. My Exotic loves to play, not for extended period of time, but half an hour per day is a must, if you don't want to hear zoomies at night 😆 And he does not like cuddles. Yet, he loves to hang around his humans (yeah...so clingy) 😉 The only true minus of this cat is the shedding, especially, when my cat hates brushing 😁
My exotic is like yours. She loves to play, but not for too long, she gets tired really soon. I think this is maybe because they aren't strong so they can't exercise that much. But they are really curious and love to play.

I have 2 exotic shorthair cats, had many Persian cats before.... this video is not very accurate or my cats are broken! My female could care less if I am around or not. She knows and consider herself the queen of the house. Don't touch her, don't ruffle her fur, admire her, serve her and leave her alone. My male cat is a dork lol I think he lost his brains somewhere and he looks lost in space 🤣 anyways I love both my babies and they are the best for me. [Update] I recently adopted another ESH 😄 she is very sweet, lovable and she follows me everywhere but then she turns into psycho and she's like a flipper ball gone crazy 😆 I love my weirdos 🥰

Most ESH are Medium sized cats. Rarely do you get a small one. I have a tiny male around 3.8 kilos. The rest of them are above 6 kilos.
