I was a bit confused to see the second solder spot on diagram, it would be more easy to understand when the diagram would show a piece of wire soldered to the ground on top. I will solder a small connection wire to the top even if the lug on the pot is long enough anyways. I will mod a classic Kramer baretta and first I wanted a EMG set for the solder free connections but I can’t buy EMGs in Europe at the moment and fell in love with your Black winter Humbucker instead of a EMG 81 and I’m a electrician so why was I planning to go the easy way?!
folks, your endcard overlaps the recap instruction partly, better leave them off if you cant foresee how the video is displayed once its uploaded. Content is great tho.
@@robersniper Professional techs have a soldering station with a damp sponge, to conveniently wipe off any burnt muck that appears on the soldering iron tip. A damp rag, or piece of paper towel will serve the same purpose. It is simple, but a good question.
Great Video. Thanks!!!
Which pot , tone or volume , do you ground to itself and why ?😊
Great stuff mate thanks for the tips 👍

How many watts is optimal for the soldering iron?
I definitely think the second option of using a bare wire is a better more elegant option.
Noob question here: when you say bare wire, what kind of wire do I use? What's it made of? Where to get some? Thanks.
Should remind people to keep their soldering iron tip clean while they are working.
How?

@@helixworld thats a problem I always have! I will do some more research and try it out! Thanks.
Then clean dry and thermally shock prior to use.
