@@santauxia Maybe down the road next year, the red orange might be a good fit for the new pilot burgundy ink. With 30 inks, I tend to keep my metal and opaque resin fountains matched with similar ink colors, as the "space grey" usually has one of my dark greys. The limited ink capacity of the M2 can be good for alternate ink use, unless you really want a lot of specific ink in a pocket pen.
I can't decide if Hongdian is one word or two. I am not a fan of pocket pens but this one is worth getting. It has a nice converter, certainly better than the Sport. I do wish it took international cartridges or even a Parker cartridge.
I was highly sceptical before buying and have since found it to be reliable, durable, and a good fit for most of my pockets and much of my writing. I literally have hundreds of pens and am slowly getting towards higher-end model fountain pens. This is one model I am probably going to get another of, soon.
@@paulmchugh1430 For my writing needs, the Hongdian converter has enough capacity. I still might grab some of the Hongdian cartridges to refill with inks I already have. I wonder if the company will produce an M3, not to be confused with the minimalist H3, and how that might be different, maybe accepting the broad nib types, and a little more capacity, and a cap seal, while retaining the o-ring.
Do you know if this great looking pen might be able to take one of the German nibs? I did fit a broad Jowo #5 nib on the Jinhao 80, and it's quite a nice writer now.
@@jimkrieger776 I’m surprised you were able to fit a JOWO onto a Jinhao 80 as that more closely matches Lamy style nibs. I haven’t tried, but you should be able to fit other #5 size nibs on this pen.
I have two of them, they write so beautifully!
Great review of a nice pen. Looking forward to getting one.
@@arcboy2011 thanks!
Hi! Thank you for your videos. This pen has Faber Castell vibes. Probably because of that aluminum matte black finish, and the familiar clip.
Great review.I own two of them, great value for the money.
@@santauxia thanks, I agree!
Which colors do you have? I got space Grey and looking at the blue.
I originally bought the space gray and now have this matte black. For what I can tell the finishes are the same on all colors except the brass
@@Euripides_Panz Orange red and Brown models.

@Euripides_Panz I haven't tried yet, but I think it will accept Jinhao nibs.

@@ForTheLoveOfPens Oops, I got the number wrong. Jinhao 82. It's the copy of a Sailor Pro Gear Slim, I think.
@ ah yes, that uses a pretty common #5 size nib
