Hi can i have your old one please..i am so depressed about my baldness its a big problem for me but i dont have enought money to buy please help me..thank you and keep sharing your video cause i knew you help someone by doing this..god bless bro.
Great video. I wear a system and it slips after a while. I had no option but to take it off and refit. Your video helped me to do it and it is great Thank you
The bit at 11:28 is the hardest bit and for a long time put me off doing it myself. But then I discovered positioning spray that delays the hold for a few seconds while you throw the thing on your head and adjust as necessary.
Can you do a diy on a full lace hair patch?, I’m currently using a mono but want to switch to full lace hair patch, i want to know how to cut it to fit my head
Just gotva new full lace 100percent densitu piece cut in looks fantastic but with any full lace system it is better to get the poly suround for better tape adhesion. I had ordered that specific one nut it was not in stock and would take 3 extra weeks . But im fine with it i put some knot sealer on the lace to give the tape more adhesion. Next one i get will have the the poly surrond Sides and back better adhesion yo yhe scalp. I still like the lace better than poly units more.realistic hairlines . Poly everyday wear will tear the base I would stick with 90 - 100 density if you are 35 and older . More realistc cause as you age your hair gets thinner less density . Great channel your attention to detail is excellent...👍
I used 99% isopropyl alcohol on my hair system base poly to clean it - was it bad? the system hair went a bit sticky and it was covered thick to try and get the glue off. i know now that c 22 on the base was probably better.
Where did you buy your french lace system? I tried to buy a hair from a company and they said they don't sale to the general public. So again where did you get your hair from
one question you put glue on your scalp i heard that to put glue on lace system it is damaging the hairsystem and hard to clean it can you tell me is it right ? i just bought french lace like your but scared to use glue on scalp i was planing to put tape on it and put some ghost bond on tape but not on scalp what do you think
@@johnmalkovich166 You may need to buy different types of tape to find out what works best for your skin. You also need to use a skin protector like in his video. This helps the tape stick and last longer.
Hey, I'm new on my first hair system using tape. I have 2 questions. 1 = Do I need to use scalp protector if I'm using only tape and no glue? // and 2 = Curtis said using glue with a lace system is counter intuitive because the glue makes it effectively like using a skin system "it blocks the air from hitting your scalp", so defeats the benefit of lace
@@HairSystemDIY Hey, sorry for the confusion. I meant to ask your onion lol. Do you think skin is as comfortable as lace? I'm on my 2nd week of my first system and it's lace, I like it. Just wondering how skin feels compared, comfort wise
I agree 100 percent attaching it back on is the most stressful part…because if you screw it up or the hair folds over onto the tape…you have to start all over again. I am trying to figure out a better way to attach mine on…
@@HairSystemDIY just watched your video as I reattached mine tonight and everything went really well so thank you.. I am one month into my first system. i can give you an advice for that i am new for all this hair system thing started using since may i boght soft barber hair grippers bought from online i but it front side of hairsytem so it holds all hairs back so i can see the hair lines an laces it helped alot i used last week first time you can try too put grippers before you stick tapes on lace so it stays there when taping finishes it would be harder if u do it after taping now i am strugling to figureout if i use bond on scalp how can i clean it after take the hairsytem out do you have any idea ? because just tape is not holding long on scalp i have walker no shine tape first time i will use full lace before i used hollywood base fron lace one
Thank you for the video. I have a big problem. Doesn't matter what I use (glue or tape) every single morning I wake up with a lifted hairline:( It is soo annoying that I am going to give up soon. Does anyone has a solution or suggestion for this?
I would say the more times you do this the easier it gets…the first 6 or 7 times I removed and installed it was the most frustrating thing I have ever done. Then afterwards you start figuring things out and the last 3 or 4 times have been super easy…
bro just one advice when you put tape on the sides just make sure it doesn’t get under your original hair otherwise the tape will pull off your original hair and that hair won’t grow back i experienced that problem that’s y

90

On a poly it should be ok but I wouldn’t recommend getting it on a lace as it can seep through and dry out the hair
Thank you @@HairSystemDIY
How long can you leave a system on for ..days ,weeks ..
Most wear for between 1-4 weeks. I never advocate wearing for more than 2 weeks

Do you apply the full base or trim it you've done no videos on how to trim it?
I trim it. Type cutting hair system base on the search bar on TH-cam. There’s plenty of vids showing how to do it 👌
@@HairSystemDIY ive cut the length on my system can I still trim the base to size?
Yes
Is tape at the front much better than glue in terms of longevity of the system and hair coming out?
In my opinion, yes
Was that 3 fingers from the top of your eyebrow or from the middle of your eyebrow?
I usually just do it from the middle but honestly doesn’t matter 👍

For a lace yes it is hard to clean off. I’d recommend tape instead

How long does a French Lace last if you take care it carefully? I am using Mono Lace looking for other type.
If you care for it well expect 3-4 months. I recommend Argan oil daily and a durag at night to extend longevity
@@HairSystemDIY Thank you so much ☺️ I’m gonna be using durag haha I thought I was the only one clipping the hair at night.
Thanks...🤝🦱

aint the glue getting into your hair through the lace when sweating?
No once the glue is cured it remains cured

3-4 months

What adhesive brand do you use?
@@HairSystemDIY I used ghostbond glue and mini’s ultra hold and unfortunately both are didn’t work.
How often do you have to take it off and clean everything and reattach it?
Every 7-10 days. If I’m away from home it can be 2 weeks
I change mine every 3-4 weeks, works well for me
With French Lace I assume you can only use tape? No glue correct?
@@firebird5323 I do both, glue on the front and tapes on the sides and back. You just have to be more careful with a lace system.

You god damn right it is son
I don’t understand how you can touch that tape like that …when it touches my skin it instantly sticks to whatever touches it.

You should never pull tape away from the underside of the base as you will pull hairs through the the wrong side
