- Learn how to quickly and easily fix a wireless Bluetooth speaker that is not charging. Follow this simple 3-steps method:
1. Check the basics. Make sure that the power outlet and your charging cable are working properly.
2. Assess the battery life. If your speaker is few years old and the battery performance was degrading gradually - your battery might be at the end of its life. It might be already time to replace it.
3. Reset the power control board. It might be frozen and need a fresh start. Watch until the end to find out how to perform the reset procedure.
Thank you very much , the last method worked for me. For those whose battery stuck at one bar or 30 40% , turn on your speaker on but without charging it even if it says low battery, then play music video etc and just leave it untill it your battery fully drained then charge it, it should work. Sorry for my english .

Do you know how to fix if it's not charging like it's forever blinking the first dot (just like your video). PLUS it immediately turns off by itself even before I tried to connect it to bluetooth.
You can also try taking it apart, unplugging battery and holding power for 15 seconds. This may work. I have another video showing how to take apart this speaker.

Did not work at all have tried twenty times. All symptoms are the same as you describe but the fix did not work.

Resetting isn’t going to fix a battery that’s years old, & seen who knows how many hours at full volume.
It was 2 months old. Not much time at full volume, however not sure how long the battery sat on the shelf though. Anyway it’s at the landfill now.
I just kept powering it on over and over until the battery was actually completely dead and it did work but my guess is that you have to keep on powering it on even if it keeps powering itself off so you can force the batteries to get lower to which it will start working again

Mine was working and just randomly shut off. Won't turn back on or accept a charge...

My Bluetooth speaker doesn't make any sound... But i can connect it to my phone... It doesn't make any sound like on/off sound or anything... U got any solution?
You have to reset it use the " play/ pause button and the volume up key pressed together and it will fix it (i had done with mine and it worked!!)
In a way that it even doesn't power on or show the one bar light when plugged into electricity? What could be the isssue and how do i solve it
I found a lose cable that was no longer secured to my motherboard. Easily Plugged it in and it began charging again. I had to take it all apart (there’s another video on TH-cam on what that looks like)

Thanks for the reply but I threw that in the garbage a year ago. 200.00 dollars and the thing only worked for 3 months. Terrible purchase. I switched to Bose.

Apparently not.
I've had many jbl mini bluetooth speakers and none will stay connected to charge. I"m always re-plugging in the speaker to get the red light to come on only to have it turn off 5-10 seconds later. I've tested different cables, charging boxes, tested different brand speakers and everything else works properly. I'll never buy a jbl product again

@@Star-kp8oc Same here. I have a Buckshot Pro my son gave me brand new. Sounded good but only lasted for a few months. Won't recharge no matter how long it's left on the charger. Can't even get it to turn on. I think I see the problem, made in China!
