NEW DaVinci Diamonds Masterpiece - Big 100x+ Feature Hit, But Wherefore Are Thou Bonus!?

- My First Attempt playing the NEW DaVinci Diamonds Masterpiece slot machine by IGT. This is played in a MegaWays style reelset, where there are 6 reels and varying number of symbols on each reel, up to 46,656 ways. I never played the original DaVinci Diamonds myself, but this has the same tumbling feature. When symbols match, after you get paid, they disappear and other symbols drop in. As you match symbols, a multiplier increases. This feature will continue until you no longer match symbols or you reach 10x, in which case you'll win the top jackpot prize. This prize varies based on your bet level. 3 scattered bonus symbols trigger free games. In the bonus, the multiplier does not reset and can go up to 40x! I believe you can also trigger additional free games. This game has MASSIVE potential. However, it's very difficult to trigger that bonus! I played for nearly an hour at varying bet levels, but couldn't do it. The lucky wristband from fellow TH-camr Lori Luckbox helped me get a great feature hit, but not the bonus. The original Davinci Diamonds was just your standard 5x5 game with a tumble feature and 20 lines. The only thing the original has over all of the other versions is that it can trigger the bonus randomly.
I'm going to have to play the original for Throwback Thursday!

I just looked up the man and the picture is called Man with Red Hat!! And the other is called Lady with an Ermine. Her painting is much bigger so she is sitting with an ermine in her lap. I do like the cascading reels. Just seems like you can get a little more out of your bet. This feature of different ways is new to the machine you're playing. Thanks for playing this. Take care.
Thx for the info, comment and view! You're right about Lady with an Ermine. The original is so much bigger, but they couldn't squeeze that in as a symbol without making her image much smaller. The other painting though is called "Portrait of a Musician". There are paintings called Man with Red Hat, but those are different. The Mona Lisa is in the Louvre, but the other 2 are housed elsewhere so I never saw them for real. Someone recently tried to deface the Mona Lisa painting, but it's protected by bulletproof glass, LOL.

I hate cascading slots. Thanks for showing this. I had no idea you can really get a few good hits on this type of machine...but that bonus is too elusive for me...kinda like getting the 15 gold buffalo heads. Cascading never appealed to me, but I actually like how this bonus works. I'm dreaming of possibly getting up to the 40x multiplier. Heck, it should be awesome just to get to 20x+. I did get 2 bonuses on this. Video will be up on Saturday I think.
I love the 2nd version of Davinci and cascading reels. Haven't played this version yet. Characters are Leonardo Davinci, Mona Lisa and I'll have to look up the other one.
Right, I'd forgotten there was a Double DaVinci Diamonds version. I don't think I've ever even seen that one on the floor. I think these games are usually in High Limit rooms, so I'll have to look there. One of the viewers already mentioned that the 2nd lady is called "Lady of Ermine" and the guy in the red hat is called "Portrait of a Musician". Those paintings are housed elsewhere, so I never saw them for real. Did you hear that someone tried to smear the Mona Lisa with cake? It's protected of course, with bullet proof glass no less. When I went there years ago, you weren't allowed to be within 10 feet of it I think.

There's also Buffalo Gold Max Power and 2 other MaxPower games, plus I think SG Gaming has a MegaWays type game. Not sure if these will succeed on the slot floor. You remember Awesome Reels, Lady Godiva, etc? Super hard, and they only paid up to 4,096 ways but they went the way of the DoDo.
Nice look at this new game! Mona treated you well! I've played the original DD on occasions and have had some bonuses but nothing too memorable. A bonus should not take an hour to get!!
Super volatile for sure. There's a chance to get a multiplier that doesn't reset up to 40x in the free games. With all the ways to pay, it's like Cleo II on steroids! Definitely going to give this another try!

They don't upload anymore. My brother stopped around 4 years ago, and Manny hasn't posted anything in at least a year I think. Channels come and go. I stopped posting myself for awhile, but I got back into it and my channel is doing better now than it ever has!

I'm not a huge fan of this. Original then the second version has split symbols and now this. I too have been to the Louvre Museum in Paris. I was in the military in Germany. Been to Paris 4 or 5 times. I travel as much as I could while I was in Europe.

Awesome that you traveled in Europe. One thing I miss for sure is how they drive in Germany. It was heaven for me - no left lane hogs, no people passing on the right, unlimited speed on the autobahn (where marked), driving the speed limit in construction zones, etc. Traffic flowed sssooooo much better there!

Neither of them were ever my cup of tea. I did recently capture the Unicow in my first attempt playing Invaders Attack from the Planet Moolah however, and it was a Jackpot Handpay!
