for me, this song is more like brewing some cold vengeful plan after devastating loss, there can be more hatred in the kyrics

one question how did you [or the person that made the lyrics] translate cause fyi sis puella magica [the original] is not sung in Japanese it's sung in a made-up language that the composer created and she is the only one that knows what the song truly means i love the song i was just wondering
hi!! sorry for the late reply! im just guessing but i think the one who made the interpretation of the song is based on the girl’s stories and how they experienced the fights for their wishes and their friendship especially homura (the voice acting part was just me acting as homura) hope this answers your question
