Were both of those jugs sap? Or, was one water? If both were sap, how many of those mason jars did you end up with? Thanks!
I filled three 5-gallon jugs of sap and poured all three into that big pot to boil down. In the end I had about a half gallon (2 quarts) of syrup. Here's the math...0.5 gal of syrup / 15 gal of sap = ~3.3% yield
