I can relate so well with this message, I lost it in campus as well but God had His way and showed mercy, we were courting and made the mistake but finally reported ourselves to the church authority.

I remember during my NYSC years almost 10 years ago, (thank God I already rededicated my life to Christ before NYSC) I met this wonderful sister, very nice but had insatiable desire for intimacy, she loves to cook for we the brothers, on this particular day we were at her place and I was left alone with her suddenly I noticed my eyes went straight to discover that she wasn’t putting on any undies immediately I stood up, found my way to the door, left and never got myself in such position again.
Was I tempted yes, was she enticing yes, what made me overcome, God’s GRACE.

Remember what Jesus said when a demon spirit is casted out of a man. The spirit goes about and seeing no rest goes back to the host. Now the reason why I share this is that many times God delivered me from the spirit of lust but would go back after 2 -3 months I would go back to Babylon. I discovered that there is a price I must pay and that price is to carry my cross daily and remain on the altar perpetually. I discovered that my heart was kept and was empty and this gave the spirit access back to my life. I realize that it’s supposed to be an everyday affair. I thought once am saved and delivered then I am free but I was wrong. Someone need to hear this. The cure to sin and lust and breaking addictions is to forever remain at the altar. That is a price you must pay daily. Many are not willing to pay the price
I actually had the same realization just about an hour ago. That we will never be healed from our sin but rather that we have to pay the price every day *because* we are sinners. It is incredibly difficult to withstand lust. Sometimes I ask myself: how can others live without it and miss out on it? Clearly there is something I don't know. And it's also tough to give up on those desires for an afterlife that might not even exist (just a possibility). But it's the exact belief that is being tested. Amen.

There is nothing better than a pastor being honest to the congregation about his past weaknesses, this message has given so much hope to a lot of people, a lot of preachers filter what they say, they project their strengths and conceal their weaknesses, that's why we are raising a weak church, and that is why when certain people fall, they find it hard to speak out because they feel they are the only one's that have fallen, may the good Lord continue to give us the grace to be translated into the image of Christ

Wahoo. This was my experience as well. I was already leading service in church, fire for fire brother, God already talking to me clearly for Me to hear, my family and friends already know that God speaks to this young man mouth to mouth. Suddenly, I visited a fire brand sister. In fact, I've envied the prayer life of this sister. One day, I visited this sister in her house, just to say hello. Suddenly, things begin to happen that I was losing control of. Me, a man who have been in the world before, have unbelievable self control, but on this occasion, I could not. I fought and fought, I stood up. Then she asked me a question: why are u running? I said, what? Can't u see what we're abt to do? She asked me: what were u expecting? A man and a woman are together, what do u think will happen? Damnn. I finally fell. It's so hard,because I kept going back. But everytime it happened, I'll cry for days, I couldn't pray, I was even running from church. My mom, who only started going to church because of what she saw God doing through me, was now asking me what was happening? I can relate to this message very well. I had to leave town for this lady. It's crazy

This is a haarrrd message to accept but it is absolutely necessary. To the sea of young faces in the congregation, PLEASE take this very seriously. Your hormones are raging and your minds are racing with curiosity. However, sexual sin is simply NOT WORTH IT.
I am 56 years old and I have battled addictions for 40 years. God's grace and mighty power have delivered me but I have to honour God with obedience everyday. It's not easy but ANYTHING tempting you to dishonour God is AN ENEMY. Treat it as such and flee like you're fleeing from a kidnap gang.
Some of us were entangled into sinful habits and addictions by childhood trauma or peer pressure or youthful friendships. Sincery ask Jesus to take these away and he will do so.
God will strengthen us and keep us safe from the evil one. Amen 🙏

The worst thing that can happened to a believer is to be alive without his presence.
It’s amazing that just yesterday, I’d taken a brother for rehearsal that I saw this lady, something just provoked me and said follow her. I dropped the brother off at church, and I still felt this pulling, it’s something else was even willing to turn the car to the direction the lady went, and it’s like I was given a map of where she was gonna go. I’ve never seen her before. It was a huge battle… I didn’t even know the place I was at, somehow , by the grace of God, my gps worked without data, and I could feel the battle ensuing within me as I was following the gps home. I felt a witness within me saying to me “this may seem like a small matter; it might not even be now, but this will catch up with you in the future”. God’s grace pulled me out of that one. I even arrived home, but something within me was still saying “but you saw her, if you go back you can still find her”.
And today I come across this video. I thank God. It was not an easy fight, and I don’t remember having fought that kind before. 🙆🏾♂️

I remember i once experience this while in varsity , i usually pray @00h00 , but that day i decided to go and take a bath , when i finished bathing i got missed calls , i called her because we stayed in the same residence, she told me she is coming to my room and the holy spirit told me not to let her in , after that day i still don't know how i was overpowered because i always told myself I'm on fire and i will never fall into temptation , till now i pray that may the grace of God help me not to ever fall again

I lost my intimacy with HIM in 2015. It's this year I got HIM back. It's not easy getting HIM back o. We have to really be watchful.
A lot of Christians need to meditate on Romans 5 talking about the love of God and Grace. I find it perturbing when you Christians say they lost their intimacy with God especially like you said; 8 wholesome years. The devil is a bastard!! The problem is, if you had an understanding through meditation that righteousness is not by your works, there's no need to listen to Satan's lies of condemnation instead of going boldly to the throne of grace and obtaining mercy.
