Minister Pei was always interfering Chen QianQian's business, he doesn't understand what QianQian always wanted, always thinking about doing something the best for her but never asked what she ever wanted. She even told him many times about her feelings towards Han Shou but he ignored it. It's also shown that Minister Pei always acted recklessly with no proper thinking and strategy when he wanted to against Han Shou.
Of all Lu Si's drama, her character here as Qianqian is whom i hate the most. Theres been a lot of misunderstanding since the beginning bec she doesnt say anything. She doesnt deny any accusations. I love this drama but i really dont like the heroine haha. If not for Han Shuo's devotion and foolishness, this relationship ended many episodes ago.
I think i would agree. Not because she hasn't been in love before she cannot understand han shuo's feelings although he has been so expressive about it. She says all these lies to save her script without considering han shuo. Her actions are valid though since she had to do it for her storyline, however without han shuo's dedication to her this love story could've ended earlier.
Idk but I understand her character here more than in her other dramas. Xiaoqian is trying to follow her original script because she thought the play will end immediately if she did. But she's NBSB, doesn't have experience in love so she's confused in Han Shuo's actions, who doesn't follow the supposed script (Han Shuo falling in love in Chuchu). Hence, she said in some part that she found him weird (because Han Shuo likes her). And also maybe because I've read a similar story like this that's why I understand her. I actually don't like her character in Love Better than Immortality. I couldn't finish the series because I'm slowly losing interest to watch it. I find her character more immature and has no clear purpose aside from finding a husband.
Where misunderstanding becomes more complicated. If only he heard his name when she cried.
