I think its due to neck belt..same thing happened with my rott.. Her eyes were like this puppy.
Then I got rid of neck belt and got her chest harness and her eyes got back to normal.

please keep a note of these things:
1. don't tie your dog until and unless very necessary
2. even if you tie your dog try not to tie it for too long. even we won't like if somebody locks us in a room for too long let alone tie us. they have feelings too
3. Try to tie the chain on the dog's body not on it's neck. Even when you take your dog for walks etc always tie the chain to his body.
4. when you tie your dog, always see that the length of the chain is long enough for the dog so that it can sleep/sit or walk around a bit, comfortably.
P. S. : I never said never tie your dog. Of course you can and you need to under certain circumstances. All I'm saying is that please take care of the above points while doing so 🙏

Not tying the dog becomes very dangerous for the dog and the owner. It could bite a stranger or another dog. In such cases the dogs are mostly shot down. Our neighbors gsd was very aggressive it bit a child who was going on road. The evening the family of the the child came and killed the poor dog. The owner also got many injuries. So its best to keep it tied as an animal is an animal. It's not his mistake, it's always your mistake.

Also dogs bite only in the following situations..
- If they r not properly trained.
- If they r constantly kept chained or locked or isolated. It makes them aggressive.
- If they feel threatened.
Its the owners responsibility how their dog turns out. Dont own a dog if u cant handle it.
Constant confinement and boundation comes under brutality and is a punishable offence.
@igger dogs are our friends not slave, and if u want him to be obedient then tying would never help, but proper training can... Sorry to say but dogs suffers too much due to some peoples like u, who don't have proper knowledge but still wants to become an expert
@igger I would say, whatever info you have got from any breeder or any article, and if it says tying a dog is a part of training then its useless.. Yeah I would say you can tie your dog but only if he's aggressive and uncontrollable..
But tying them for making them obedient is nothing other than foolishness... Training is done by providing them love and appreciation when they follow your commands, and sometimes some treats

I have been a dog parent for around 18 years (2 dogs). I can feel that most of the people commenting here have never owned or raised a dog. Based on my experience, I can say that putting a leash or familiarizing them right from their puppyhood is the best thing you could do. I made a mistake with my 1st pup by not putting the leash until he was grown up. And when I put it, it was a nightmare for both of us. My dog was too uncomfortable when I put it for the first time. He barked the life out of him and our neighbors, kept biting the leash, and kept pulling it real bad. Ultimately, I had to keep him off-leash, and as a side effect, I could hardly take him out in public places. You did the right thing. Raising a dog needs a great balance of affection and discipline, and its best to start early.
